None of the players have a level banner. Perhaps they only show on our friends and ourselves, I do not know. The leader on my board has a score of over 600 now, second place has 216. Now do we think these players are real? What is your winning score @cookiemae ?
No @cookiemae as you will see in both my screenshots above the only one with a banner is me. You are right, who knows. But I will give it a go every now and then and maybe I will get to recognise the ones that are the easiest. But with the scores showing in my leaderboard today, I think I can safely say goodbye to the 1st 2nd or 3rd place 🤣
@Carol-38 @christinewupp I was wondering do any of your players in the star tournament have level banners. On winning the tournament I honestly believe it depends on the group. Maybe I have been in a test group. It's king so who knows.

I've found something surprising today that allowed me to zoom through the Star Tournament levels and pass them and even so I won't possibly get to the top. My leaderboard is also above 500. I have played levels non-stop for an hour and a half while on a longish car journey til my fingers ache, and I'm still only on just over 100 points. I really don't know how cookiemae does it, winning the tournament every week. I'm off on weekend away now, so I won't be crushing all weekend. I had "Don't feed the troll" back though this weekend, so maybe things are looking up.

Well Christine @christinewupp I don't normally finish my new levels this quick, prefer to spread them out a bit more. But as you'd finished and are testing the Star Tournament I thought I'd have another go. Now as you will see on my previous screenshot the final score of last week's top player was 245. Now we've still got 5 days to go and look at the score for the top player already. I don't stand a chance in 👹
@christinewupp I'm thinking we all get the same levels. No reason to change it since we are all at the end. The ones you posted are a couple of my favorite. After you play awhile you will see the repeats and figure out which ones to skip. For me it's about every 5th board. A lot of them you have played before on your regular game. That's one reason why I don't get why people have said it's so difficult. I also am able to collect more color candies for events sometime. On the chocolate box sometimes I can use levels to complete it depending on what I haven't figured it out yet but I think as long as it doesn't say new levels you can use the star tournament. Another thing is when doing the chocolate box and it says use 1 party booster you can use it without completing the level it still counts. Anyway as you keep playing the tournament you will find all kinds of ways to stay at the top and get those additional boosters which we all need.
Have any of you started the Star Tournament yet this week? I am finding the levels strange! They seem to not be from the upper ranges of the game but some are really easy and I recognise some of them from posts in the community or from my own games. This is one of them:

I did have fish flying around, or should I say swimming around. Not that they did much good though. This is what my Star Tournament ended up like, guess I shouldn't complain much being as I ended up with 3 boosters. Although I do wonder if I used my quota of adverts that I would have got for my Sweet Cinema where I could have got a Lollipop Hammer and Free Swith
Hi @teenybee I wasn't really doing it for Top That forgot you said about it, but then remembered while playing and seeing the blue candies fly to Top That when I passed a level, which wasn't many. I didn't get Don't feed the Troll either last week, haven't had any side games for over a week now, very boring 🥱😕
@Carol-38 and @cookiemae Can I just ask you if you also get fishes added to each of your levels in the Star Tournament? It seems strange as the fish booster is not an option, only ever the lucky candy, which I don't play, but the game always spawns fishes on all the ST levels, is that normal? Also I have found that there are bomb levels, which still have a count other than 99 on them.
Hello @teenybee Well, I certainly have made good progress in my Top That using the Star Tournament! So it sure worked for me. I'm not that good, I only passed three of the levels.
But now I've just updated my game it's stopped doing that so I was lucky I hadn't noticed there was an update. I'm still waiting for Season Pass to reappear even after the update.
I’m glad to hear you passed some Star Tournament levels, @Carol-38, and I owe you an apology for encouraging you to play them for Top That purposes. I was obviously benefitting from a glitch that I presumed all ST players had but it seems that wasn’t the case. I didn’t want to post what it was in case it got changed but you can probably guess, since I wasn’t passing ST levels but was still making good progress on Top That.
Maybe they’ve been ‘unglitching’ the Star Tournament anyway - I don’t know as I haven’t had Top That or any other side games for several weeks now. I know some players also had Don’t Feed the Troll again last week. Have there been any others?
Between that and no Season Pass (mine isn’t back yet) I’m nearly out of boosters, so this week’s new episodes will be quite a challenge 😬
🤣I'm still trying it @cookiemae passed a couple on my own and got some giving me adverts to get 3 extra moves and a UFO so passed them as well. Won't get many boosters from the Star Tournament but it's moved me up Top That a couple of levels 😂
@christinewupp Interesting @Carol-38 played yesterday and really didn't have much luck. Maybe test groups on this event as well because I have never played as many levels as she did and didn't win 80% percent. As long as I complete before new levels are released I seem to win. Oh well King is just weird.
Out of interest, I just got to the rainbow and I passed the first two levels I was offered on the Star Tournament without any boosters @Carol-38 and @cookiemae. I didn't take screenshots, but it would appear that King do have lucky boards in this event and do give them out to newcomers, as that was unlikely to be a coincidence I got two easy boards to start with.

I've always been at the end of the map @cookiemae as well since they started the Star Tournament, but never really bothered with it. I think that being as you have always done it, you have worked out a good strategy. It's good that many find it fun, it's also good that some of us don't, otherwise there would be so many playing, it would be even more difficult. Good luck, hope you stay at the 🔝😊
@Carol-38 I do recognize these levels. I would have taken a pass. I think because I have always been at the end of the map since they started the star tournament and are able to recognize all the repeating levels having played them before so I have a good sense in what to skip. I only lose lives that I have no use for until the new episodes. I don't hardly get events on Windows so I definitely need the star tournament to keep my stock of boosters up.
Tried it @cookiemae don't think it's for me at all, won't be bothering in future. Played 43 levels, passed 3 and 2 of those was after I'd been given adverts to watch, 1 for 3 extra moves the other for 3 extra moves and a UFO. So in reality I passed 1 level without any boosters or extra moves. I didn't skip any as I'd lose a life the same as trying the level and failing. I wonder if those at the top of the Windows map get the same Star Tournament levels as those on the mobile map. I'm showing 3 of them to see if you recognise any, and you'll see the result of each with 1 move left 🤕
