Latest update - WTF?!? not possible to collect boosters anymore?

I just updated candy crush to the newest version, and the first thing I noticed is that it is not possible to collect boosters anymore either by playing level 606 seven times or by playing levels 1 through to 7 for instance?
So you can still build boosters by winning new levels in one go, but you can’t play 1 level seven times as has been possible up until now.
Can this be confirmed?
If this is true, which it seems to be, then I’m well and truly done with candy crush.

I don't have this behavior yet, so I assume this change is being rolled out gradually - and sure enough there is feedback such as yours being gathered here:

Upvoting the idea will make the situation more visible for the Studio to consider (and I personally hope they do!).

So let me get this straight - King makes some levels impossible to pass without boosters. (I know they say they’re all passable without but some just aren’t) They took away our ability to exit a level before starting & still retain the space dash/ build-a-bot etc. And now they’ve removed the ability to go back to earlier levels to build up the space dash/bot to help us pass some of these ridiculous levels?! So it’s $$$ or nothing. Bad move King, your greed is absolute.

Level 3949 is not passable without booster and there is no way to collect them without paying other than the once a day spinning wheel. Guess it is so long CCS as I am no longer getting sucked into your money grabbing scenes. I have spent enough and have tried this level more that most other levels combined when I have not passed on the first try.

Hey guys, I hear what you all have to say and I empathize with all of you. These higher levels do require boosters so have any of you ever done the Sugar Drop challenge? You can collect up to 13 free boosters every 8 hours. You can read more about it here:
