If you paid with gold bars I cannot see how this can be undone. You can try contacting Support via email, but I honestly don't think you will get very far. In fact I believe it's deliberate that the X button is green, as opposed to red. They probably want people to make this mistake if in a rush. It has happened to me, too, at some point, when I pressed it by mistake for 5 extra moves. I wasn't even close to finishing the level and that was 10 gold bars wasted! Also note how they don't ask "Are you sure?" if you press to pay anything with gold. That is pretty outrageous, because if you press "quit" they do ask this. I hope you are able to play in these six hours of free lives. If you can't even use these, then that would really be annoying.
@ascherz King generally do not replace items that you obtained for free. That is, if the gold bars you used were just items that you won then King won't replsce them.
If you used real money to buy the gold bars that you used then you should contact Player Support for a refund explaining that you couldn't make full use of your purchase.
Many a player has complained that they have accidentally used their gold to purchase items they did not want, but King don't seem interested in fixing the issue. For what it is worth please add your vote to the idea linked below.

Unfortunately, you cannot cancel that purchase because, once we hit that button, we have already receive the moves and Gold bars will be deducted!
But, you can try to contact the King Player Support team and request to reimburse the Gold Bars! But, if those Gold Bars were earned in features, you might not get those back🙃 But, you can try your luck sending your complaint through this link —>
