Why are you cancelling free ad supported boosters after I bought a booster package?
I, took, have been playing candy crush saga for maybe 16 years or so. This week for the first time I bought a booster package with Apple pay. Now I never get any more free boosters by watching ads that I used to get all these years. That is sooooo sad. I am bummed out. Shame on Candy crush saga !!! Many years of fun and now this! Basically Candy crush can only be won, unless it's one of the easy games that are fewer as I have climbed the proverbial ladder, by buying gold bars and other boosters. Why, have you reduced this fun game to now depending on $ spent in order to win moderate and harder games??? It seems Candy crush has gotten so greedy. I think I am in the 16521 game. That's how far I have come to now experience this shoddy treatment. Sad

Hello @ukrplyr You are right, this is very sad. It is a shame you have come to this community too late: We have been warning players about this again and again for years in the community forums here!
It happens without fail: The moment any player makes a purchase with real money the game will remove ads from your game. They rarely return, sadly.
To answer the question of why: King now hope that once you have spent money you will continue to spend more money. It's how they do it. And there is nothing us players can do about it.

@christinewupp that's awful!!! So this is what will happen to me!!! 3 or 4 few weeks ago I bought a booster package for the first time and I promised myself not to do it again. But, as I read in your comment, it's too late! The game will remove ads, won't it?!? Anyway, thanks so much for your suggestions... They're always helpful!

I have only ever heard from player who did lose their boosters after a purchase but that usually happens are a few days. However, if you still have ads in your game weeks after spending real money then it would be interesting to know as it may mean that King have changed their ways. Do you still have adverts in your game now @annmary ?

@christinewupp yes I've still adverts BUT no extra moves at the end of the game. I used to have up to 6 extra moves and a booster (often a colour bomb) which could represent a real chance to pass a hard level. After my purchase it doesn't happen anymore.
I've been stuck on level 16084 for weeks and I used to think I would never move forward, but... I was given a five mins booster, the spaceship, and the miracle occurred. I just have 6 golden bars at the moment but I've learnt the lesson: no more money, I'll simply wait for a lucky board.

That's interesting to learn so thanks for sharing this @annmary. Yes, it's very hard to progress if you are out of gold at this high level stage. I am finding the gold chocolate box is the only means to earn more gold bars in this situation. Watch out for that daily win: When you get your sixth and last stamp you will get a timed UFO and at the moment I get a timed party popper as well. So I keep my eyes open to know when that last stamp is about to happen and make sure I have filled up the first three chocolates in my gold box with replaying old levels before I play a new level that day. Then when you get your timed boosters you can use those to fulfil the order for the last chocolate. I get 30 gold bars in my gold box.
