I can still claim 45 Gold Bars on my Windows 11 laptop. This is exactly what I use it for to play the last level in the episode to get the 15 extra Gold Bars for the Episode Race 🙂

Well, nothing unusual for me today. I received 35 gold and timed boosters as promised.
I wasn't given the chance to watch ads for more gold. Perhaps the glitch is in the 'gold for ads' part of the code.
That's really nice. Hope I'll get a chance to play later today. I'm curious what they'll give me.

Indeed @MannyFae but the 'last time' might also have been just the start. That is, when it happened to me in April might just have been the start of the rollout of this change and it has taken them this long to get to the 'M' part of the rollout.

Well if what happened to me is any indication @MannyFae then yes it looks like your Episode Race has been changed to deliver thirty gold bars.
Yes, the same happened to me yesterday, while I was testing out if playing on two devices is a help or hindrance. I got 30 gold bars instead of 35, but I thought maybe it's because I played on two devices at the same time on the same level, so today I tried playing one episode only on the iPad and I did get 35 gold as stated on the claim button. However I did not get the one gold bar I had watched an ad for. Something isn't right. But it's probably a glitch rather than change from one test group to another @MannyFae . Hope so.
I had the same thing happen to me today.
I had 14584 gold (barely visible through the dark overlay in the top right corner), and was supposed to receive 35 from the race, but ended up with just 14614.
Is this a sign that they are going to move me to the '30 gold' test group? Sigh.
I was doing some levels in 7500s over the weekend and the episode race gold bars changed from 40GBs to 35GBs + ads for 5 more gold bars, while the gold chocolate boxes changed from 10 to 20. I guess there are always test groups here and there. Also, my Sam's streak just disappeared on April 20th, no trace no returns ^^. I just laughed at all of these weird changes and played the games as usual.
Always check my gold, have been no problems! Not for a long time anyway.

Yes I totally agree @christinewupp my guess would be that they have changed my Champions Race to the 35 gold bar version, but their inattention to detail with the programming of the features has resulted in this aggravating discrepancy.
If it ever happens the other way around I fully expect the world would end.
To be honest I only thought to check because the screenshots show the second time that this has occurred. The first time it happened I convinced myself that I was imagining things so I took screenshots for the next episode
