@MarirKlepp If a player's game lacks the reskinned orange music candies, it means they have no means of participating in the Music Season event. That's the issue my main game has.
King's excuse for this (and I quote Player Support) is "Due to the large number of players in our community, we sometimes have to split it up to make it manageable and accessible. Millions of players participating in an event at once can be a lot of work, so we divide it into groups to keep it running smoothly.
We understand it can be frustrating if your friends have a feature that you don't, but rest assured, you will likely get it soon. Remember, when you have an event or challenge, it's possible your friends might not have it this time."

In point 2, what did you mean by "3/1/2/1 for 5 steps"?
That would be the last bag for a 5 step sequence. I read it as left, up, right, down, so 3 turns, 1 striped, 2 wrapped, 1 color bomb for the 5th bag. I did notice with a 6 step set of bags you got a second striped so 3/2/2/1 on the last bag.
Dunno if this squares with your observations, but I passed 201 yesterday, and a full 24 hours hasn't passed, yet the bag changed back today to the variant I had last week or so:
Honestly I am not really surprised. The exact "post 200" trigger is a best guess but should be taken with a grain or two of salt. 200 is the trigger point for the new bags in general but the exact nature of that trigger is a bit odd.
In your case if you had been at 215 and got the bad bag since the 200 + "new day" trigger had not happened, in theory once that "new day" did ie 10PM EST or 4AM EST it should have updated as you were already past the bad bag trigger point… or maybe something like that.
It used to be at 200 next morning aka 4AM EST but King messed with stuff when they released Volcanic Panic. The Speed Up and Initial Candy Royal also can be oddly delayed when they both used to trigger at 501 every time.
