Hi @Munster I hope you did get your gold the next time you logged in? The darn connection issue has robbed a few players of their gold prize but sometimes if you close the game and then start it again and it reloads the claim button will show up again.
Surely however you have been around long enough to know that we are all players here and none of us can do anything to give you your reward. You need to contact King Player Support for that.
unfortunately, that hasn't been happening for me, tried restating it and rewards are gone!! sadly this is not the first or even the fourth time this has happened… I'm still waiting for the 200 gold pieces I won months ago, I wrote to ADMIN but nothing, one time 75 and another 50… it's way with Candy Royale too
Hello again @Munster . Your problem has been reported previously in this community and as I had Candy Royale pop up in my game today I decided to check out what happens with this event if we lose our internet connection while we play.
So what I have found is that if during your play your internet connection is lost this may not be obvious. Candy Royale is not a live event, it is written into your game when you load it and will continue WITHOUT internet so long as you continue to keep the game open and play.
This is my screen before I turned off my wifi:
So at this point I decided to turn off Wifi to see what happens to Candy Royale:
Spot the difference? Well, the other players have disappeared from my board, that is the most obvious difference, and the episode race flag is greyed out as well. But apart from that it looks the same. So I play on, and Candy Royale continues, even though I am cut off from the internet at this point.
I win another two levels and get this screen:
All seems normal even though I have no internet. Other events tell me that I have no internet, so this is what the music collection shows me:
But Candy Royale gives me no such warning.
Of course you may understand that I chose to not risk losing my 78 gold bars, so before hitting the Claim button I did make sure my internet was on again, BUT the claim button did stay on the screen while Wifi was turned off:
So what I would advise you to do is in future just before you play your final level, check that your game has not lost its connection to the app store. To do this check that the other players on your map are showing up and the episode race flag looks normal with the number next to it. You can also go into your profile picture and try out if the game will allow you to purchase anything such as striped candies, from your inventory. I would suggest that if you get this:
you are good to go. Press the X and play your last level of Candy Royale.
If you get this:
then close the app. Reopen the app, check again that you have internet connection, and then play that last level.
Of course I am just a player like yourself so I cannot know if this will fix your problem, it's just a hunch I have of what might underlie the connection issues player get when claiming CandyRoyale or the episode race.
I might start a separate thread with my findings as I found that an interesting test. I do hope you will get your prize next time.
