🎶 Get Ready for the Candy Crush Music Season 🎶

Hello @Monikamago There is no first on the music tournament yet!

This is how it works: All the millions of players got placed into groups of 10. The top 5 all those groups got through to the next round.

So HALF of all players are currently "first", which is several million. This is because in the next round starting in three days time everyone's score will once again start from zero: points already gained do not carry forward. So it does not matter if you came first or fifth in the qualifier round.

You and millions of other players. I won in two games and got second in another.

So if you like it, we are all winners.

But the question was who was in first position in the tournament. The final leaderboard to find the winners will not be played until October 12th. I don't believe we will know who is in first position until then.

As some of you know, this Music Season also happens to coincide with what is the 55th anniversary of a very famous album from the British band The Beatles called Abbey Road. To further build upon the musical theme of this season, have a look at my take on a Candy Crush parody of Abbey Road called Taffy Road, recorded by none other than The Sweetles, comprising Denize, Mr. Tiffi, Bubblegum Troll and Tiffi!

This was based on an earlier parody album posted by Candy Crush Saga's social media team many months ago, involving the same 4 characters below. Note how rushed it looks in that Denize stuck through the crossing pavement like if she were in a video game glitch, and that the characters are not put precisely to scale.

Right now I'm on an Android tablet. How do I opt out of the Candy Crush Music Season Tournament?

I don't think it's possible to opt out. The best way to get out of the event is to not play so many levels in the next round that you end up in the top 5. I am not sure why you would want to opt out? You can always just ignore it and just play your normal game. Most of us do that.
