Welcome back @christinewupp (or at least I assume it was a weekend getaway 😄).

As expected, my SS game reached the end of the road from inactivity. There's no Tournament icon in the Events tab anymore anyway. Makes sense since there should only be one second chance. It's for the best since I was getting tired of playing 2 games, and the busy period at work will begin soon.

I left off in 1st on my GC game, so I'll see if I placed later when I get home. One suspicious thing I noted was the 2nd place player trailing me close was collecting plenty—yet their current level (932) stayed the same throughout as their candy score kept climbing. True, old levels count in this tournament, but I don't know any level <1000 that yields so much orange candies. Curious to see if their current level # changed…

Yep, I'm through to next round:

Slightly better prize than 1st Knockouts, but the basic boosters just increase by 1. Don't strain yourself with all that effort, King:

    This round consisted of:

    1 Me (US) - 1281

    2 Canada - 1002

    3 India - 6760

    4 India - 613

    5 India - 746

    6 India - 1506

    7 Brazil - 7456

    8 US - 6252

    9 Germany - 9217

    10 US - 3828

    11 India - 16464

    12 India - 1568

    13 France - 7217

    14 India - 10973

    15 India - 229

    16 India - 233

    17 Spain - 5235

    18 India - 2205

    19 Brazil - 223

    20 India - 1578

    4, 6, 14, and 19 accepted my friend requests.

Like @Peaches12 my board was stacked with India too. Unsurprisingly, the trend of mainly players starting a new game continued.

Next round begins on a weekday (in 5 hours according to the countdown!), so I'll see if I'm able to push on…

I think you should close and reopen the game to see the level update of the player

    Level 2

I am sure I will loss this time (a lot of work today) but I made 30 consecutive levels and made like 120 gold bricks due to that… not sure if I can get the qualification (first place was like 20K gems when I stopped) but I made more bricks than a regular day… sometimes is better to have this than to spend time and money trying to get a prize…

💡 Thanks for the suggestion, @ndd_2023. Too late to apply it since the round ended, but if I notice the same phenomenon with the current round, I'll try it. Odd, my current level # showed the expected increase in the leaderboard. I would've thought the same would be true for the other players.

Appreciate it, @Peaches12 and @Storm15. The workday can't go fast enough! 😆 ..although maybe delaying entering the round will be better for me. I never actually tried that.

This marks the end for my GC game, sadly. I passed 2 episodes tonight and got in 2 yesterday, giving me 3rd place for the moment.

Still a few hours of the round to go, but I don't see the sense in rushing through episodes and burning through boosters when I'm losing out collecting gold in the Gold Chocolate Box. Plus I wasn't interested in the ultimate grand prize of this tournament anyway.

I'll post the final tally tomorrow after work. It's looking like the 1st place player is a real one, hope she wins. I'm pretty sure the 2nd place player is dirty; has questionable stats for them to be doing what I'm doing (a come from behind approach). btw you were right @ndd_2023 about the lag in other players' current level @#s updating.

    Level 2

I ended second, I did my best to get 819K orange pieces, but my rival doubled me, while third place do a run for my gold bars :) Hope my rival (she has a photo) is real and can win the tournament… she really spent so much mon… effort in this.

While a relief the 1st place player held steady, I also became skeptical after realizing all 5 other top-ranking players excluding me have 0 "Lives sent" in their cards. I get how that makes sense for all the ones who began a new game this year (probably just for this tournament). But "Kandi" has been playing since 2012 and didn't send a single life to a friend during these rounds? Ok then. 🤷‍♂️ You do you.

    For reference, the rewards:

Note the bizarre message about "chances to rejoin the tournament." Yet another message after claiming the rewards indicated this as "the end of my musical journey." Keep those contradictions rolling, King…
