Hey guys, I've just uninstalled and reinstalled the game on my iPad. And I'm getting all new levels from level 1! Am I part of a test group or is everyone seeing these new rewritten levels? Here some examples:

Bubble gum introduced at level 11. No more tutorials, it seems, just find out for yourself what the special candies do. More different colours. I can't wait to see more new old levels!

Mine haven't changed recently, although they are different from when I originally started playing. Here are screenshots of my 4, 7, and 11.

Ah yes, those are the ones as I remember them. I started a new game just last Wednesday and got the normal levels. Today I started yet another game and I get these new ones. So it's either that I'm in a test group or that new level have come out with today's update.

I'm finding them a bit boring and repetitive now. They all look much the same and I can hardly tell one level apart from another. Easy to pass except the two levels they make us fail on our first attempt. Bubble gum, gumball machines, marmelade in all the levels up to 50. No liquorice or cages yet.

Here are another two. I remember what these two levels used to look like. I liked old level 50. Level 46 used to annoy me, so good riddance, but the new version is really easy to pass, so the ratings are all wrong.

To come back to this thread and this latest game, I think I must be in some weird new test group here.

From level 51 or so onwards the levels were back to the normal boards. No more bubblegum machines or bubble gum for now and liquorice, cages etc , the same levels we know and everyone else gets. Only the colours stayed different: yellows and reds instead of orange and purple. That's stayed the same up to where I am now, level 110. It's also been extremely easy up to level 110, where I have run out of lives for the first time.

More strangely this game gets NO EVENTS. I mean I only get the events that are automatically written into the game when first loaded: Daily spin, daily win, win streak and episode race. These load automatically when we reach certain levels. But I have had no introductory collection or any of the events that get changed from week to week, nothing. It's really boring, except I can't wait to see what happens later on, if it reverts back to the old colours and if it gets any more difficult or less predictable. In fact it will be interesting to compare this one with the game I started the previous week on the old iPad. That game has lots of events, including jelly streak, but is definitely harder to play.

    Level 3

Interesting, just reinstalled on my android emulator and I have the new ones as well.

So initial impression, I like the new ones. They try and force the player to learn some of the harder mechanics.

That being said, with no tutorial info… ya that is going to go right over people heads haha.

That's great you have them as well. I'd be really interested to see if your game plays the same. I'm Tiffy. I found all levels quite easy to pass right up to level 110, where I got stuck to the +75 moves point. I just got past it now without boosters. So far the bright colours need a bit of getting used to. I'm not sure I'm a fan, but it's probably just that I'm so used to the orange and purple. You wouldn't be able to beat "Don't feed the troll" with this game!

I did get the usual free Party Popper and the 3 free UFOs and have the 40 gold champions race.

Another odd thing about this game I noticed was that the Daily Treat Machine popped up really early and gave me a 5 minute timed UFO as my initial prize before the UFOs were unlocked in the game. That was weird as of course I couldn't use them yet, so it looked like an error to me.

Hi @wildcrusher thanks for joining in but no, those are the special alien invasion levels you've got there . They are fun and I do quite like them, they're different to any other levels as well, that much is true. But what I was writing about in this thread were levels 1 to 50 in the game, those level right at the very start of Candy Crush for new players joining the game.

    Level 3

This is just a mucking around game. On Tues I start again on Windows so will have to see what is what.

One quick impression is that some of the early levels are a bit suspect in some of the mechanics. They are they type where it is hard to get chains a such. The experience is not quite as smooth as it likely should be.

For the daily booster, had the ufo one before, ya it is sorta odd.

And now they've changed it all again! Colours are back to normal in my levels (scrolling back to check). Some levels have reverted back to the previous, normal version (e.g. level 4 and 7), others were kept though in the new version, e. g. levels 10 and 11. How bizarre! I wonder if this is now permanent and will be for all players.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
