Oh here we go again @cookiemae @Deryck do you think the new 'Me' is another Sneaky Melon Duck.
I've lost all hope cookiemae that King have the correct info on anything. And even though we posted about it at the beginning of October still nothings been done. It's just one big 🤕
I just received the Player Card. What a total joke !! How can you have a "win streak" when your Candy Necklace keeps disappearing and your win streak returns to zero !!! Note my levels won for the last 7 days is 66. I have not bombed out once and had to repeat a level, however because of my "disappearing" Candy Necklace my win streak is 10.
I have reported this time and time again and @QueenB assures me "mirrors" in the Games Studio is looking into it. I feel for @QueenB, constantly going out on a limb to protect a totally incompetent Games Studio.
At least @christinewupp @Carol-38 my starting date, 2013, seems to be ok.
It's like hitting our heads against a brick wall @Peter_Tornaros well over a month ago feedback was sent saying the 'personal' information they have decided to share without players permission isn't correct. So why are they still sending to others instead of looking at and seeing what the errors are, how they have happened and how they can be fixed. Also they should be listening that many don't agree that their personal statistics should be shared and should be adding a filter for those who feel like that.
There are so many other things they should be discussing and putting right. Like the Candy Necklace, greyed screens, gold bars not being received etc, etc, before filling the system with data that is irrelevant and unnecessary to our personal games.
I am still waiting to find out what the thinking was behind it all. It must have been discussed at one of their whiteboard, tea, coffee, biscuit meetings. So what was the discussions and reasoning for giving personal statistics of others to compare against our own. I really want to know as I just don't understand it 🤔
Hey @christinewupp, saw your reply in the Support thread. I can only think of 2 things causing my issue with the game not working: the player card or a uniform coding that was applied to different platforms of the game. I think the latter because that issue is on mobile (Android) only. PC seems OK. Mine (Win 10) can feel slow scrolling the map, but that could be due to having an older computer. I tested on a Win 11 device, where things feel completely normal. Even though I can play on PC, I don't want to since all the benefits of the game are on mobile.
oh! You made me recall how the "Me" situation happened. We're getting new PCs at work, so I threw in the towel on my "Melon Duck" game. Not knowing if the name would override mine in my main game when I logged back in, I renamed Melon Duck to what I thought was the default name—only I guess there is no default name since King treats "Me" as a real one. Glad there's nothing sinister there at least! 😅 It explains all the new friends suddenly in my main game; they carried over from the Friends list of my Melon Duck game.
These new player cards really do give us the chance to check up on other players. There is no end to the kinds of statistics we could create with these. Here is an odd one from my current leaderboard:
They have been playing since 2020 and are now on level 392…… Strange….
This one is equally odd. It's taken them eleven years to get to level 1417 and suddenly they play at a rate of 263 levels per week.
Hello Christine, I have notices that you have changed your name to Wupp in both your games or is this another King mistake. Talking about the player cards they have my log in details totally wrong I noticed that the moment it says 100and something and I know I have been logging in everyday for the whole year. Any way happy crushing. 😀
Hi @T0rr1e Yes I'm sorry about the change of name. I am hoping this will be temporary until King fix the new font. I found that I might be mistaken for the Messiah when I am top of the Weekly race, so I decided to make my name shorter as I couldn't stand having my last three digits removed like that. I know I could have chosen "Chris" or "Tine". I used to be called "Tine" as a child, so that might work. Maybe if they don't fix it I will change it to that, but I am hoping they'll sort it out. The numbers are too big as well making the Warcraft leaderboards hard to read.
