They rewrite levels and leave jelly jars…
From level 1500 onwards it gets a bit messy and confusing:
I'm sure I saw liquorice shells in a few levels but they now get officially introduced.
Also magic mixers turn up with no warning and they don't seem to affect the gameplay as they are in easy levels and get destroyed before they spawn anything. One spawns chocolate but it's not part of the gameplay and I think these must have just been left in the game from previous rewrites. No chocolate still. In fact level 1519 should have a chocolate spawner and be quite tricky to pass but I get a dumbed down version, though it is harder than King think because the gaps at the top don't fill up with candies, so it is tricky to fulfil the order for frosting (the other version did not require us to remove frosting from the top spaces). This must be an oversight as the game is sending us lots of special candies but to get the last frosting you actually would have to think for yourself, something not encouraged or valued by this rewrite. This one is supposed to be easy to pass but isn't.
I have found a normal version with a chocolate spawner posted just five hours ago on YouTube so scrolled back in my main game to find the same board with no chocolate. Please could anyone reading this check in their games if level 1519 has got a chocolate spawner? As in this video:
I hope this does not mean that King are writing chocolate out of the game. I certainly can't see myself starting over to play another new game if this is what has become of the first 2000 levels.
Another post sent from approval. Why?
Well that one wasn't.
Am I no longer allowed to mention chocolate?
Okay, it must have been something else. I wonder if anyone here knows at which stage in the game chocolate now appears at all? I found a video on YouTube posted just six hours ago of level 1519, where it still has a chocolate order and spawner. Not only don't I have that in this latest game but my main game also has a board with no chocolate. Do any of you have chocolate @MannyFae or @SneakyMelonPyroDuck ? Anyone else who is reading this? This is what it looks like now for me:
My level 1519 is the same as yours. After checking level 2622, the infamous 'chocolate hell' level, I discovered that all the chocolate had been replaced by bubblegum and frosting.
I also randomly checked level 3077, and it still has chocolate in my game right now, but then again, someone asked about level 3151 a couple of days ago, and my board still had chocolate, while theirs didn't. Apparently, the levels are being changed as we speak.
Nobody knows the answer to this question, I'm afraid. I used to check with the Candy Crush Saga wiki, but they can't keep up with the speed at which King destroy the game.
Thank you for your helpful but disheartening reply.
I do think they are killing the game, but perhaps only on the levels affecting newish players. On the positive side I am quite enjoying playing the Star Tournament this week, and I also rather enjoyed my new releases this week. All those levels contain a mix or elements, and there has in fact been some improvement in the quality of the latest releases since I temporarily stopped playing at level 15,000. I hope you will get to join us at the top soon, though I fear the final 1500-2000 levels will always remain the hardest for those trying to catch up.

Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted to ask about. It's great to know. I had planned to start a second game and hoped to start it around Christmas, but I don't feel like doing it anymore. I think I'll focus on my current game instead. I am aware of the hurdle of the last 2000 levels, and I am accumulating gold to guarantee that I have enough to overcome it when I get there. We'll see how it goes.
It's not achieving the same hourly rate of purple as my boring new game, but it might even be enough to get into the final which I really didn't expect with this one. The Star Tournament actually works.
