Same thing here. I read that you would still get the 40 gold even though it wasn't showing, but I just completed 27 levels (!) to finish the chocolate box, and I got zero gold. Agree this feature is what keeps me playing.

I don't want to upset anybody here, but I must report that both my test games I am currently playing at levels 1000-1800 are getting chocolate box after chocolate box with 30 gold bars and also 40 gold for each episode race. I hardly spend any as I get lucky board after lucky board, so really, is this game fair to all? Definitely NOT!

@QueenB @PummyRaj If the Chocolate Box no longer gives gold, I will only be playing a few hours a week to clear the newly released levels.
Is this the intention, to get rid of the top level players who don't spend much money on the game ?
A reply would be appreciated, as, as it stands, the game is no longer worth playing.

I did send this question to QueenB on Tuesday, and she said she forwarded it to the game team! I am still waiting for the follow-up!
Like Christine, I am also receiving Gold Bars for the Chocolate Box - which were gone down to 30 (from 40)! So, Christine and I are definitely in a different test group! Cookiemae is in different group and you and all others who are not receiving any Gold are in a different group!

I still have the Chocolate Box with 30 gold bars. I play mainly on my PC.

No gold on chocolate box and a few features disappeared from my game. Levels at the 17000's are very hard to play for no rewards. Spent too much for worthless rewards. Will take a break from it!!! Will be checking discussions 😔.

I have noticed that sometimes, there are variations depending on the device we use!
If I try to play the game on my iPad, the Episode Race gives only 30 GB along with some timed boosters. If I play on Windows 10 App, I receive 45 GB (it used to be 40 till few weeks ago)! Hence, was asking!
