It's one hit per dragon. So clear the licorice and the blocked licorice, then get the 8 dinos, followed by breaking through several layers of frosting with about 10 moves. The licorice blocks is what makes this so impossible to win.

Oh, no! That takes away 8 moves just to release the Gummy Dragons!!
I think I played only 2 levels in the beginning of the month! Hence, I do not remember how the levels worked exactly, but had only vague idea! Sorry about that!

Unfortunately I have still 8 days on this event in my game @bookfly and I've even tried to see if changing the date on my phone back or forward would get rid of this event for you but it just keeps reappearing! I would not normally suggest such drastic action to anyone, but I have found that I can temporarily disable this event if I change the date on my phone back to before it started. I closed the app, changed the date on my phone to one month ago and reopened the game in the past. This way the event does not show up though you would lose progress on other events, such as Season Pass as well so it is not something I can wholeheartedly recommend. You might however find that if you did that your level would change to the version I get, but this will be only while your phone is set to the wrong date. You could maybe play this one level before changing your date back to the present. I'm only suggesting this because you seem absolutely desperate to move on. If the level really is faulty or deliberately set to only include "fail" boards, this might be an option. My version of the level is not as impossible as it looks at first glance. There are chances to make wrap/stripe combos and if you get the candy cake early it will help.

Please let me know when you have read my post above on how to get rid of this event because I think I should delete the advice once read, as it's not something recommended by King. However, I would like to add that I have just tried the method I described on my own game and it did work: I got the normal version of the end of episode level, which was easier to pass and the game did move me on to the next level. I closed the app and reopened it and did at that point get my episode race gold awarded as normal as well, so it didn't break anything: The horrible event is back in my game now, but at least it's a method to get past the one level. @bookfly
