Same here. I was unable to connect with Windows App since Septemder, without any message. I see same message (the last ss) for a couple weeks. And still unable to connect on Win10.1 -

Could everyone try to remove the game app from your Facebook account.
To remove the game app that you've added to Facebook please follow this link and after please restart your device and try to reconnect:https://www.facebook.com/help/170585223002660

I have tried to follow the removing/reconnecting the game from Facebook account, but result is still same.
How can I create a King account linked to my existing Facebook account so I can keep my progress and don't have to start the game over from scratch? Is there a way?Thanks in advance.

I have a phobia switching to King account from Facebook. Few years ago my gold bars were wiped out after I login with King account. It happened twice and I lost about 10,000 gold bars. I hope this system glitch is fixed by now.

I am at 15k levels on my account, that's why I don't want to connect a new King account. :(

I didn't start a new King account from scratch. My phone was already login with Facebook account, I just created a King account and login on my phone. My game progress was at the correct level and all the boosters were intact. However, the gold bars went missing. I switched back to Facebook account but the gold bars remained missing. That's why now I always avoid to login with King account.
