I have an issue where my Candy Crush Saga game freezes all the time on my iPad. I have tried shutting down the iPad completely as well as clearing my cache etc without success
It needs upgrade on the game goninto games and their should be an upgrade or download so download and that should clear the problem

Thank you for the feedback. The first step to solving this sugary snag is to close the app and reopen it. Double-click the Home button, swipe up on the Candy Crush screen to close it, and then relaunch the app. Often, this quick fix does the trick.
If that doesn’t work, try restarting your iPad. Hold down the power button, slide to power off, then turn your tablet back on. This can help clear out any glitches causing your game to freeze.
thanks, I had already tried that as well as shutting down my iPad completely without success. I believe it was a matter of King upgrading the game which knocked it off line. It is now once again functioning

Just for my clarification… when you said the game was freezing, were you watching a Grey screen on the game map, where you could not click on anything?
yes I was, but my game is now functioning properly
Believe the game is rigged. I have a new iPad and for the first week the game did not freeze. Now three weeks later it freezes often with the boosters. Just won 7 of the Royale games just need to win one last game to collect 100+ gold bars. The game froze on the first swipe. This causes you to loose the game and the win streak along with the booster. 😞
