I think they changed the troll. Now you need 2000 orange candies instead of 2500. The rewards look a little different also.

If they insist that we must play the new levels, then the least that they can do is to lower the bar. Set it to 1000 or lower, at least to those playing at the higher levels. After all they will use up a lot more boosters to get the reward and it's only once a fortnight.

Now I know there's not a lot you can do about it @QueenB but I'm happy for you to pass my screenshot to the Studio and those making the 😣 decisions. Ask them how we are meant to be telling others it's a fun game when this is what we are given. Yes the rewards are decent for those who manage to get them. But believe me I used more boosters than Don't feed the Troll offers, to pass my episode. So why would it be such a big deal for them to put it back to playing old levels to get the rewards.
I fully understand @christinewupp why Scooterpie has stopped. No fun side games at all and even if we do get them they'll be for passing new levels. And DFTT now not even worth thinking about.
And King thinks that makes it better 😂 what they need to do is put it back to playing old levels again. Lets not hold our breaths though 🤭

I believe there are many players who has never spent any money on this games. You need to have patience to collect sufficient free boosters to help you move forward. I have been collecting free boosters on multiple devices and hoarding gold bars for so many years to the extent that I don't know what to do with them anymore.
If you can't wait to move up, then the easiest way is to spend some money. The most important thing is that you must be happy with what you are doing.
kabam is the troll and we are the dummies for even trying in the higher levels. Most event now are just cash grabs.
I’m just trying to get through the levels and don’t even hope for getting anything for free anymore.
I had the 2000 version yesterday but failed to get the party booster. Today it's back to the original 2500 version. Several levels are without orange candy but I got lucky on two levels that gave me more. Managed to get through when the countdown timer turned 0:00.
I have not been playing new levels for two weeks. This troll is just an excuse for me to rush through a few episodes this weekend just for fun. Of course, I used a lot more boosters than you can imagine.

I think the party popper is not timed, it's hiding behind the others, but being the 2500 version again it's not for me. I know it would take me more than one episode.
Alright, new day, new troll. 2200 orange candies, new levels for: 1 party popper 15 minute colour bomb 1 colour bomb 2 striped and wrapped 1 UFO I've got the event around level 850 and collected 2200 orange candies within 25 minutes.
It just proves that King aren't really interested in keeping their players happy and interested.
I feel the same way. It doesn’t help either being stuck on a legendary level.
I'll still give it a miss unless it's put back to playing old levels 😣

Even if someone decided to play the Star Tournament for this @christinewupp I can't see it being done in the time. I'm sure the Star Tournament is made up of all the Super Hard and Legendary levels, so could this really be completed in 45 minutes. Now that is NOT a dare for you to find out, it would require far too many boosters 😂

Is it a hoax? I was curious and played one level of the Star Tournament and passed: This event does count levels passed in the Star Tournament, but for this paltry prize I don't think I'm interested. It looks like they've put us all into different test groups, once again.
That'll be because you play at the top of the map. I was playing the Cornflower game at around level 5200 when I managed to do it in one episode . I couldn't do it with the other game either: There are too many colours and not enough good levels to collect any specific colour. I totally agree with you there. It won't work for players at the top of the game in one episode. I played mine on Wednesday so I can't try it out.
No, I've got to disagree with you there @christinewupp I played an old level earlier just to see. Wasn't ready to play any new levels at that time, so the clock started running. Came back later and played a whole episode, clock still running. Finished the episode and ⬇️
So 15 levels played and I didn't even get wrapped/striped candies and a fish, needed another 404 orange candies. King certainly know how to put the dampener on things. They knew many of us were playing it and managing to get a party booster to help with the Chocolate Box, that obviously upset them no end. And as you said @Jumpery lots of boosters needed to pass levels, so once again King are being mean and spoiling the one little game most of us get and USED to look forward to ☹️😥😞 I certainly won't be bothering anymore 👎

Can't play watching ads because the game aborts after the ads start. It was hit and miss before, now every time the ads play.
It says report ads in the chat but then chat says this... Several ads aren't closable and lead you to the play store. Especially SHEIN and Ibotta!
