You want to reach the end of Candy Crush? Think again!

It seems to be every player's goal to reach the end of the map. But is it worth it?

Definitely not in my humble opinion.

Be prepared for NO EVENTS.

There is a "Star Tournament" with paltry prizes of a few minor boosters for passing a hundred legendary levels (I think every level of the Star Tournament is a legendary level from further down in the game)

This morning on my other account Top That is back. Not for Poppy at the rainbow end. This is all that Poppy gets:

I also had a pop-up of Jelly Streak, but as soon as I played a few levels of the Star Tournament and passed these, no sign of Jelly Streak, so no, the Star Tournament does not count towards it.

Nor towards Factory Frenzy which I am kindly being offered by the generous King. With 6 minutes left on the clock I have not scored a single striped candy despite passing several levels of the Star Tournament.

The weekly race also won't advance through playing the Star Tournament.

The new releases since the beginning of 2025 have been abysmally boring and not worth waiting for.

King should not be surprised that when players reach the end of the map they start a new game and try to use their expertise to outplay everyone in the big tournaments.

Anyone with any sense would play slowly so they never reach the end.

Or quit and find a better thing to do with our lives.

It really isn't worth being up here, folks.

And it's not just Windows players. It's all of us.

Would anyone like to disagree with me on this?

Not sure why they shut down Events when you reach the end of current levels, but it's frustrating. If I have to go much longer without being able to play, they might have cured me of my addiction to this game.

Heh. I actually want to reach the end so I can feel good about quitting. 😀 I hate leaving things unfinished, and this way I won't have to. I will probably not be able to resist playing the new 45 levels every week just to stay at the end, and I might try to "win" the star tournament one week just to say I did it (even though I know that from a reward standpoint it's totally and ridiculously not worth it; I have the gold bars such that it should be possible), but my main goal is to go into Candy Crush retirement. I can say I basically conquered that game, and move on to something else.

Iam at the end too and it’s not worth it . Only to get 45 new levels on every Wednesday. We miss out on so much not worth playing anymore.

I couldn’t agree more, @christinewupp, and I thought about posting something similar in response to @Nobody1’s original post.

Anyone whose aim is to reach the top of the map, please take heed of what Christine has said. The buzz you get from doing so doesn’t last long when the reality hits that, with only 45 new levels a week, you will win nothing in any leaderboard contest that requires passing new levels (which is pretty much all of them at this stage- even the old reliable Candy Collection is new levels only now), nor in Don’t Feed the Troll, Top That, the Weekly Race etc etc. Plus the Gold chocolate box eats into your good boosters (assuming you have any left by then) when you haven’t the option of playing new levels. And for most if the week, you’ll have nothing to work on.

    It gets old very fast.

Just to point out, @Nobody1, that part of the reason the Star Tournament is so difficult is that you only get one attempt at each level. So having a lot of gold bars wouldn’t help you much since you can only buy 5 extra lives on any level.

    Level 3

As I said, the goal for me has been to get to the end of the map. After that, I might play the 45 levels each week just for completeness' sake, but I will be happy because I'm "finished" with Candy Crush, which was my whole goal anyway. So I am quite sure I want to get to the end of the map; I'm ready to go into the Candy Crush "retirement" of doing 45 levels a week and otherwise not playing much.

And I do still look forward to the challenge of the star tournament. I want to see how well I can do at it. If there are levels that give "oops" much, I guess there's not much you can do if you only get one chance at a level. But otherwise I'd like to think I can make progress there.

Don't expect too much from the Star Tournament. It's repetitive as the levels loop around eventually and I'm not convinced that the opponents are real. I'm not sure how it works but it might be fixed in a way that the episode race is and the other players are just recordings. You can't click on their avatars and the top scores are just ridiculous. It really isn't worth bothering with.

Every level is impossible to pass without boosters or gold bars. There is a maximum of 6 stars per level if you get sugar stars. I often get two or three stars awarded per level. The top three players must have passed more than 100 levels.

    These are the potential rewards:

It is an event only for absolute addicts and those poor souls who have nothing in their lives other than Candy Crush.

You're probably right; I'll find out for myself in about a month when I get there.

@christinewupp I have no issue playing the star tournament and have an enormous amount of boosters from winning. Hundreds of each boosters (not party boosters) but othe others. Also I never had most events just the basic every day ones. The people that play in the star tournament are real as well. Once I had @Boybinary in one of my star tournament. I enjoy playing this tournament and regular candy crush plus before I came to this forum I was not aware of the side games. Anyway I am most of time at the top of the map and yes I do have a life and I am not a poor soul. I may be addicted somewhat to the game since I have played it daily for over 12 years. People complain about side games say the game is boring without since I never had them so I don't suffer from boredom.

@cookiemae Yes the star tournament is real and I remember seeing you as well! The star tournament in itself is a total waste but if you are at the end of the map and trying to keep your gold chocolate box alive or collecting blue candies for top that it is a necessary evil and when we used to get to play tournaments it was also useful. so… That part!
