That's a shame. It would have been interesting to see who would show up on your leaderboard. You only need to play one old level to bring it up, but I understand. It's good that to decline to take part is an option.

A shame that Cornflower was omitted this time, for no apparent reason. I also cannot see any logic in why some players are excluded from the tournaments. I used to think it's the most higher level players, but apparently not. I didn't receive the new Gold Club before the Winter Cup, so it seems that everyone has to skip the leaderboards on occasion.
The possibility of opting out of the tournament is intriguing. If only players who don't mind leaderboards participate, will the groups become more challenging?

I doubt it will have a big impact though, as nearly everyone will just click on "accept": It's big, it's bold, and apart from a few experienced players who would choose to not participate? I haven't joined just yet. The new game will join early the end of map game I'll join later. I only have the Star Tournament for that one as I've played all the new levels.

I'll join late, as usual. I have become so used to focusing on just one game that I don't know how I will do with two, and I will probably continue with just the new game. Neither game is fit for tournaments at the moment, but I'm curious to see what this tournament is like.

One thing I'd be interested in, aside of the actual levels and "levels played in 7 days" of our opponents would be if you or anyone else could check how much one episode will yield in purple. I wonder if the overall possible scores are reduced compared to last year. In events like the chocolate box and Don't Feed the Troll, where we do still get to see our count of candies I am seeing much lower counts than we used to get per level. I think finding out what scores are possible in one episode is really interesting. King seem to now control this quite tightly I think. This tournament is just a dress rehearsal run for King, and for us. The prizes aren't worth fighting for.

Oh this is annoying, I don't have any player cards yet. I think I'm not far enough into the game since I can't click on the other players on my map either. I guess level 39 is too early for this. 😖

Got the player cards at level 66. These seem to be a pretty random mix of players from a variety of places. But I won't be testing anything any time soon. There are NO purple candies. They've been written out of all the early levels so that new players can't compete at all. Strange….
Patience is a virtue, but mine is running out soon.

I don't think that I have ever had such a variety of countries in a leaderboard.
