You may be right. I know I had a couple of chocolate levels not too long ago where I was in danger of losing by destroying them too early, but that was likely at least a few weeks ago, so maybe they have been rewritten since then. I thought I remembered one happening since level 16000, but I might be remembering that wrong.

You may well remember it right. It's just that I have not personally seen any such level for a long time but I have not played at the range you are at. So if you do come across one please let us know. There seem to be a lot of untouched levels in that part of the game, so they may well still be there. I've found that the frog levels are all still there as well.

Finally I hit another chocolate level where there's actual danger. Level 17476. It starts with 9 chocolate which are each covered with marmalade and no chocolate generators, with an order for 18 chocolate, so you need at least 9 more to grow from the first 9 once you uncover them. And I started with 3 super color bombs on the page. It was scary, but fortunately the chocolates were covered so as long as I used the super color bombs on regular candies, I was okay. I'm afraid I did need a UFO and a couple of free switches to get through it at the end, though.
It's been tons of levels since the last dangerous one I saw, though - maybe 1000. They are definitely quite rare now, at least at this level. I notice my last post here was over a week ago.

Thank you very much for your information @Nobody1! I've been playing a few odd levels myself to try and find the frog levels that I remember from when I played the 17,000s a few months ago. Some were really clever and fun but I can't find them as replaying old levels is very hit and miss. If you come across any, or any more good chocolate levels of course, I'd love to hear from you. So any frog levels if you could take a note of the level number I'd greatly appreciate. Good luck with your game!

I've seen a lot of frog levels, but they are usually the new boring kind where you don't really need the frog for much. I just now played 17507 which has the frog, and I did use it once, but it was basically pointless since I had super color bombs and blew up almost everything with my first move anyway. I will mention here frog levels I see where the frog is actually meaningful; I have seen one or two of these up here, but they also seem rare. Frog orders were nice; I miss them.

Apparently King are now testing out if the Flavor Lab to make fishes can replace Samantha the Frog in level 9294. They are definitely trying to get rid of her I think.

Level 17588 was actually a pretty fun (albeit kind of easy, especially for the higher levels) frog level.
Also level 17597 - not quite as good, but still the frog was potentially somewhat useful.

I guess this is only peripherally related, but you were talking about the game being oriented more towards superchargers and double color bomb matches, and I thought I'd mention that I just lost my win streak (987) on level 17609, which is one with marmalade and blockers such that since I had too many boosters enabled when I entered, I got an immediate Oops with no moves available, so I never had a chance to move - instant death. So they are still making some levels like that.
17609 proved to be a really easy level, as long as you don't have any boosters enabled. I easily won it with no boosters on my second try.
Frustrating, though, because now I have to finish this episode race with no superchargers.
