Level 1
Here we are again, new month, hopefully no alien invasion and a new plan. Also the title just fit haha.
Rules:
- Extra turns allowed
- No buying gold
- No Hints
- Must get to 66 with no lost lives
- 6 hour sessions, min 1 a day when possible (Try, but not required).
- Rage less, crush more.
Notable stuff:
- Episode race was a PITA to start. Did not want to trigger properly, news at 11.
- Still not fixed the lack of the 3 UFOs and 1 Party Popper on Windows.
- Level 55 for once was not a PITA, had 6 turns left which is impressive for that one.
- Something I noticed on 128. If you hit the lemon drops with a wrapped or striped they will turn into striped candies. This does not happen once you have your quota for them met. Seems to be the only level this will happen.
- New levels, no color swap.
- My original avatar before I changed my picture.
Not to much else to say, went very normally. Maybe that is a good sign.

Well that is a 100% nope.
Day two was basically level after level with double boosters and 1-3 things left. The whole night… @215+…
Also 30min hammers broke again and clearly the section I was on expected them.
Give it 6 months or so, though might have been the last hurrah for me.

That sounds grim. I've given up playing the game "as intended" now. It's a horrible, unpleasant experience. I'm putting Cornflower on ice and see if the King overlords will allow a player who saved up their gold bars honestly to participate in the next big leaderboard event. But apart from this one I'm done with that. Trying to beat the algorithms in other ways is all that is left now if you want to enjoy the game. King have made too many changes in 2024 and gameplay is just getting worse and worse. Forcing players out of the game before they reach level 300 cannot be a good idea now, can it?

The two things that made it so much worse were:
- Episode race ended @ around 18 hours or less. Basically if you play everyday and have a job you need at min 16 hours between your game time and that excludes anything else. So it dying under 24 is just insane.
- Watching the special candies auto-explode. Dear lord I could predict when it would happen most of the time yesterday. Nothing more fun then watching a color bomb and wrapped line up and 5 seconds later when the rest of the candies fall into place the bomb and wrapped just go boom on their own. The other one is watching color bombs go off on the other side of the screen when nothing should have hit them.
Really it still shocks me they are pulling this nonsense in the 200s. I get the new theory that you can nickle and dime everyone instead of just going after the whales but that was 2021 when people had tons of cash.
