    hi nobody1,

I had maybe 3 ads yesterday. I played old levels for the Season Pass which is boring at this point. To earn boosters I have only the daily spins & season pass. At this rate it will be months before I have enough to get thru a new episode.

    Today, no ads so far.

I wanted to update how I'm doing; I've been unable to resist sprinting for the end of the map because I want to be "done". Unfortunately there haven't been as many ads lately as there were before, and what @christinewupp and others have said about the last levels being outrageously hard has really been true, so I've been eating through my gold bars a lot faster than I had hoped. I'm now on level 18066 (just 360 levels from the current end!), and I am now down to 28,680 gold bars, when I was at 32,000 gold bars at one point around level 16000. So in just 2000 levels I have lost about 3500 gold bars - wow. But I guess the good news is that I should still have a pretty large number when I reach the end of the map. Part of why I'm sprinting so fast is because it seems the last 1000 levels of the map contain so many levels that feel essentially impossible without a double super color bomb to start, but are actually pretty straightforward if you do force a double super color bomb at the beginning. So now I have taken to only moving forward if a supercharger is available, and once it is, get through as many levels as possible on it. And I am using extreme measures to make double color bombs (for the levels that look difficult only, but that's about 1 out of every 3 levels it seems), which sometimes leaves me using as many as 7 free switches or hammers to do it. Painful, but it seems like paying at the end with extra moves or UFOs (or even worse party poppers) is even more painful than this. And losing a win streak, which means losing the supercharger, really doesn't seem worth it. A double super color bomb in most (but not all) circumstances is a substantially better booster than even a party popper, so it really seems to pay to go to the trouble to make them and keep them. One of the best things about double super color bombs is that they will often be able to clear out a first set of staged blockers with the first wave, and then take out the second set with the second wave. And in general, any level with licorice curls scattered all over it seems like it was specifically made to require double super color bombs - make them or die on those levels, it seems.

I wonder if christinewupp's method of being stingy with boosters at first, being willing to give up a streak without hesitation, and paying with gold bars for extra moves at the end along with a few boosters if necessary, would really be cheaper than this. Not sure. Clearly I'm burning a lot of gold bars this way.

360 levels away from the end with a 457 win streak currently active. I wonder if I can keep the streak all the way to the end of the map?

I do like your strategy @Nobody1 and you have hit the nail on the head with stating that some of these levels seem as though they are designed with the super colour bomb in mind. I think all levels in Candy Crush are now essentially designed (or are being redesigned) around this feature, and you are quite right: It is even more useful than a party popper.

I have noted that even at the lowest levels now the game often leaves players a jelly or a UFO short even after paying for five extra moves, whereas a few weeks ago I could reliably count on the game dropping us the right candies to pass if we paid for extra moves. It's getting more and more expensive to keep your win streak at all costs, even in the lower levels. But that is exactly why King have made this change: The game is intended to be played by keeping a top win streak and keeping the super colour bomb going. Your method shows just how profitable for King this method can be. As I stated elsewhere, I'm done with playing the game as intended. I'm looking for the best way to maximise timed booster usage in all but my Cornflower game now which I have currently put on hold, I'm also looking at ways to get the most out of the few events we still see. So I do play Cornflower when Candy Royale shows up since I know I will still make a gold profit that way. This stop-start method is a good way to earn gold and my gold balance still increases by about 100 gold each week using this method of stagnating play of one or two episodes per week.

  • I agree the Supercharger is definitely better than the Party Popper, especially a double Supercharger. Sometimes it is a challenge to keep it for 24 hours to maximize the benefit. I have currently reached level 16686 which surpasses my old level of 16400. My Gold Bars are still at 50K but I am definitely using them more to pass levels which is why I started a new account, but I am in a much better position to go forward with the game. Have a great day๐Ÿ˜Š

Awesome progress! I'm looking forward to hearing how many gold bars you have when you reach the end of the map. What you've done is quite impressive!

  • Some other things that I have noticed with respect to ads. I normally play on my Android Device.

While you are playing the Supercharger there are no ads available on the Android. I use Windows 11 primarily for claiming the 45 Gold Bars for the Episode Race. Windows does not have ads available, but for some reason, I find the levels are easier to pass playing on Windows.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone else has noticed this. Have a great day ๐Ÿ˜Š

I do get ads even while my supercharger is available on the iphone, @Colleen Companion Welsh . I don't play on Windows and only one account per device at the moment, so I cannot comment on level difficulty.

I get ads even while my supercharger is active as well, @Colleen Companion Welsh . Usually they seem to be far less common when it is active, but I certainly do still get them, if less frequently. I play only on an Android (Samsung) pad, which really should look the same to King as an Android phone.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
