I wonder if you fantastic people can shed some light on another recent 'issue' I've noticed?
The above screenshot shows my group for the weekly tournament. I've come 2nd in each weekly tournament for the past fortnight, so was envisaging a tough group this week........ EVERY other player is brand new to the game this week!
Strange in itself, but as you normally tend to have one or two players who you recognise.
Not only this, but but these are the totals after 2 days!
Following on from users scoring weekly win totals of 35,000 plus....... what the heck is happening to this game?
I've been playing since 2021 so neither a short nor long term really, but long enough to get the feel of things.
Is this a ruse in an attempt to make players play/ spend more in order to beat the new 'players' ?
Call me cynical, but I but this isn't mere coincidence and I wonder if these characters are fabricated by King for reasons that I may have touched upon.
Things don't seem 'right' in the game at the moment, or is it just me?

Precisely the same this week!
All 7 'opponents' totals were gained within the past week. No prior history in the game.
I'm not taking the bait if that's what it is. Pointless playing against the machine that changes the rules and challenges to suit.
It's like attempting to play a non-lethal version of Squid Gameπ

Same again this week.......this is after only 12 hours of the week!
Looks like another week not worth bothering with......3rd week in a row.
Whatever 'the powers that be' are doing it's ruining the game. This is most certainly not a coincidence π.

I hadn't thought about it until now. I won my Weekly Contest last week, and it seems that may be the last time I will ever win one.
My leader board this week:
At this rate the current leader will exceed 700 levels by the end of the week. After the new levels get added this week (on mobile) I have 270 more levels I can do this week (I just finished level 18200). So the highest I can get this week is 330. Oh well, looks like I will have to get used to not winning this anymore.
I do hope to reach the end this week. I'm spending way too many gold bars to do it, though. These final levels are pretty ugly.
Oh, and all my opponents this week are starting from below level 200 again. No level 71s this week, though.

Wow 18200......only 4000 ahead of me π.
Mine are mostly week 2 scores in total, but the leader is all within past 7 days.
It's been the same for the past 3 weeks. I can't be bothered with it tbh, just going to do the minimum to earn a few bars and daily bonuses.
I haven't a clue why these changes are being made, but can't be the only one who's completely fed up with it.
If it doesn't change I'll just ditch the whole thing. I only use it to fill a luttle spare time, no great loss.π€·π»ββοΈ
