My son had it, and I started playing it and then showed me. I played it on his iPad cause he gave up. Then he started playing it again and used all my gold, boosters everything. So he deleted it on me. So I started my own on his and didn't have internet back then so this time had no boosters or another to pass levels made it 3,000 levels and he lost the device and I had it saved no where. Two years later, I gave it another try, and now, on level 11,000+. It's so relaxing, fun, challenging, and addictive. Only play this and 1 other game...
My boyfriend told me during an argument that I needed to find something to do. He was right. I started playing Candy Crush

So I started playing Candy Crush in the year 2015/2016 on my first ever smartphone but I took a long break from that time until 2021 because my phone got bad and I didn’t get a better one until 2021. Unfortunately I didn’t save my progress from 2015 so when I got my new phone I had to start afresh. I wasn’t really happy about starting afresh and also the game looked way different from what I used to know it to be in 2015. Because of all this I only played it whenever I was really really bored. Along the line my boyfriend saw me playing it one day and I was also complaining about how hard the particular level I was in at the time was. He teased me about it and offered to help me pass the level (he was boasting about how he was going to pass the level😂) but he didn’t, he failed it 😅. This made him upset and he went ahead to download the game in his own phone and since then we started a competition lol.
To cut a long story short, I was winning the competition because I got ahead of him and he had no other choice than to accept defeat. So since then I’ve just kept on playing it even though the initial urge to win a competition had worn off, I still kept playing Candy Crush because i realized that it was really doing a good job at keeping me company.
I know life is happening a lot lately, adulthood is kicking me in the butt and so many other things and because of all this I sometimes go long months without playing it but somehow I still always find my way back to it. I love Candy Crush.
And that’s my story lol, hope it wasn’t a boring read 🙈🥰

I used to think Candy Crush was a waste of time, played by those with nothing to do... and then around 10 years ago I was living a very stressful situation and the game helped me regroup and destress and get the presence of mind to carry on …all that passed but I continue with my stress buster:)

This game is my way of escapism of the problems in my life.
Oh yes, I get it. Thanks for the clarification. Luckily at the moment it does look like King will keep the frog at the higher levels. In fact this weeks' new releases had two frog levels in them. The reason I will leave is because it is one of the best elements in the game that we can use to still play using our brains and some strategy. The game has become just a candy bashing exercise in the past year. Many levels have seen interesting elements like chocolate and conveyor belts removed, and the frog only starts to appear now after levels 6000. There are still some interesting elements in the game at the higher levels but new players are being bred to just use super colour bombs and booster combos to bash their way aimlessly through the levels. The game has changed, and the frog is one of the last symbols left of the fun strategy game that Candy Crush once was. Its loss would signal the end of the game as I used to enjoy playing it. Mindless bashing of blockers with colour bomb combos is not for me. I don't see the point.
