I played through the entire event recently and cashed in all the boosters.
However I find it really confusing and if they roll this out to everyone there will be nothing but questions here from people who don't understand how to get the rewards and complaints about the endless animations you can't click through.
I would advise you to just put up with the animations and you'll probably get some rewards along the way which will pop up in your game. I note your times states "4 hours", I had many days to complete this, so I don't know why this has suddenly popped up for you this late @Aries2020. I was stuck on 8/9 of the individual pins for ages, and I didn't understand what all those different images or "pins" were about at all. It took me about three days to get to the end, so 4 hours probably won't be enough even at your speed. Just ignore it and enjoy the rewards you do get.

Why are the sour skulls not working as they usually do? I was just playing level 13990 and the sour skulls wouldn't activate after they've been touched by a candy nor after a wrapped candy exploded. It cost me my episode race and streak. Why is CC getting so glitchy?
