Weekly Race- Is it fair or is it fake?

As I mentioned above in my post all of the players on my weekly race board were new players as well, but mine only played a maximum of 10 levels this week. So it'n not about it being new players. What you did not mention is how many levels did you yourself play LAST WEEK? (not this week, but the week before that) I think this is what the event algorithms go by. How many levels had you yourself played the previous week? It would be really valuable information if we are to understand the algotithms King use to manipulate this event.

Update on the earlier post: the Weekly Contest opponents whom I have befriended since the change was implemented have started appearing in my Friends Challenge. So I think the players themselves are real. Their behavior appears to be too complex for a bot. Also, it seems that the friends who appear in the challenge are the ones I exchange lives with most often.
My main game is back to having players of all level ranges, with the highest level being 11,000+.

This is really interesting. Since King made the changes to have all new players this is the first complaint or post of nonsense or impossible scores we have seen. I wonder if the system is being changed again. When you click on the players you can see their player cards: Which level are the top three players at?
