Thanks to one of the game experts we now know that there are dates and terms and conditions for All Stars 2025. Check it out here:
Wow, starting in March - almost time already!
What I have noted so far:
We will be allowed to rest in between rounds! Not like last year when all three final knockout rounds were held within a single week. This is a huge improvement as I thought last year's non-stop knockouts were a health hazard.
There will be a limit to candy numbers collected per level. This is new and will be interesting to see.
(5.2.1. in the Terms and Conditions: Maximum limit caps:Please note that every gameround (i.e. each attempt at a level) is subject to a limit for the number of All Stars candies that may be collected for that gameround. When this limit is reached, this will be as indicated in-game. Participants cannot collect more All Stars candies than the maximum limit per gameround. Any attempt to circumvent this maximum score cap may be deemed unfair play under section 4.5 above.)
This will please @pmin who asked for this to happen after the music tournament. Does this mean the end of hiding the dragon?
Also I note this addition to the Terms and Conditions:
4.6. Unfair Play:
King strives to provide a fun and fair gaming experience for all. While King cannot undertake an obligation or duty to eliminate unfair play entirely from the Tournament, King maintains a zero-tolerance policy against unfair play and this applies (without limitation) to any unfair play done prior to the Tournament as well as during the Tournament….
Does anyone know if the "unfair play done prior to the Tournament" part is new this year? I think they're really trying to crack down on any cheaters this year.
Asia and most of the world is excluded again.
And we'll have the same fiasco as last year about visa requirements. I wonder who will be advising the disgruntled Brazilians this year. I won't. If last year is anything to go by then none of the moderators or King staff will go anywhere near the All Stars forum. Last year Alienscar and myself worked our hearts out to try and explain the rules to the confused masses. If any of you are thinking about answering posts be warned: you'll get a lot of abuse from the angry mob.
2.1. Acceptance: Each Participant must agree to these All Stars Rules to participate in the Tournament. If you do not agree to these All Stars Rules, please do not access or engage with the Tournament.
Sorta implies an opt out. Is there an opt out this time?

What? People were totally rational and reasonable last time. 😐️
Also starting March 20, I did not expect that one.
So I wonder if a million players reach the Maximum limit caps at the same time how will they determine who moves on to the next round? So if I am playing the last round and we all reach our limit what happens? This seems like they really can pick who they want to win. It seems totally unfair to me . It's should be my choice to spend hours collecting candies to stay in the event. Will everyone have different limits? Will they tell us our limits before we play? People at the bottom of the game will they have a higher limit? I have so many questions about this limit.
Yes, @cookiemae this one will need to be explained as it's quite a confusing concept. However as I interpret the maximum limit cap it applies to each individual level. The sentence states that a "gameround" is "each attempt at a level" so to me this means that this refers to each board we play. In essence this would mean that the tournament will be decided by how many levels we play. This is not so very different from previous years, but it would mean that any player who is trying to artificially draw out one single level, such as by bombarding a board with party poppers and lollipop hammers, like some players did in 2023, will find that once the cap is reached their scores will no longer increase.
Thanks @christinewupp for explaining That sounds better because I was definitely confused.
So we can now confirm a number of theories with the rules outlines for All-Stars, and while some of the changes made for All-Stars are not great it does seem like they were intended to minimize the overall damage to the game.
As example the first 3000 levels being All-Star fodder along with other balancing levels a little as far as candies go and such.
Please QueenB can you, with the gentleness of a category 5 hurricane, tell the dev team that perhaps a road map might help reduce the confusion and rage generated by what seems like *personal language filter activated* strange decisions.
HHi All .... just curios. I've been playing since 2017.... just by myself and usually with not many boosters. Just joined th King Community last night.
Question is how do people cheat? Or unfair play, it just baffles me.... either win the level or not. Managed to get to level 16918 don't think I ever cheated..... wish I knew how now though… I am stuck 🤣
Thanks 😊
Hi @Shoey61 Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately we are not allowed to even give any pointers as to what "cheating" methods there are in this game. I do know a few of them and have stumbled across them by accident without even looking for a cheat. However I spent the past two years experimenting with honest methods of playing the game as intended and have managed to reach level 5496 with a gold balance of 21613 gold. I am not sure if this will be enough to win All Stars, but I will give it a try. I have posted extensively with tips and methods based on my finding to show how the game can be played successfully without using any cheats.
There is a method used by some expert crushers in the past which involves hiding a dragon in an inaccessible place to ensure the level cannot self terminate and then make one easy level last forever by using boosters to take advantage of long cascades. There were claims here that 1 million points could be scored on just one single level. Apparently King now count this method as "unfair play" and have brought in some measures to cap the number of purple candies possible to score from such manoeuvres. It will be interesting to see how this will work in 2025.
Thanks just a joke about wanting to cheat.... just cracked that level (finally) and on 16920.
Didn't know it was even possible to get that many gold bars ..... I had 120 once 🤣
Thanks for taking the time to answer
I wish you all the Best & Good Luck 🍀
Hope you win 🎉
