@QueenB My first strategy is to try to compete in it. It seems like I and others who are at the end of the map have not been receiving the indicators that we will be allowed to compete in All Stars. Are people at the end of the map not allowed to compete? I am located in the US, not using VPN, on the latest version of the software, and still not seeing the warm-up event, the All Stars title screen, or the purple stars. Will I be allowed to compete?

@FluffyDinosaur Is there any way you could look into this case please before it is too late? A lot of players in this community appear to be excluded, not for using cheats but just because they are GOOD at the game. @Nobody1 and others have got this far by watching lots of advertisements, and never broken any rules!

This vote is silly and pointless since the strategy for getting to the last round (Stage 6) is clear:
- Stages 1 to 3 I recommend to start off using the "careful planner" strategy. Make sure you keep in touch with the leaders but don't waste boosters or gold or crush more than necessary. Do NOT spend any money to pass the first three stages. If you can't qualify for the final knockouts without spending money you just will not get to the final round. Don't worry about not coming first as long as you get one of the qualifying places.
- Stages 4 - 6 can only be won with the "speed crushing" strategy. Whether you choose to speed crush all through the round or just in a sprint in the final few hours, to get to the last round you will have to crush 3 or 4 episodes per hour. So if you can't do that don't waste money on the tournament as your chances are hopeless.
- "risk taker" ….. if you want to spend lots of money and ruin your joints, by all means take a risk
- "Lucky one": Absolutely definitely this tournament can not be won by luck. If you want to win a lottery spend the money on lottery tickets instead. Candy Crush All Stars cannot be won by being lucky. Anyone fast and determined enough can probably win it, but not through luck nor help from any gods: It will be grindingly hard work. The last round you will have to speed crush non-stop for 24 hours. That is not luck, it is hard labour!

Very helpful strategies, @christinewupp , and very accurate. One comment is that stage 4 can be actually not all that bad if you are semi-lucky with your opponents, and it is possible that behaving similar to the early stages is a real possibility. Of course, the difference here is that in stage 4 you must be first place, so you really need to make sure you keep a buffer between you and second place so you can hold on at the end. And unless you have demoralized your opponents with your lead, you will need to keep checking right up until the stage ends, or you might have someone come back on you and win it - good players can score very fast.
Once you get to stage 5, it's going to require all you have to keep up, and then you still need to get lucky. Stage 5 seems crazy hard to me because it lasts so long and yet you need to be performing at top level throughout all that time. At least stage 6 is short. Then again, in stage 6 every single person there with you is amazingly fast at scoring, so it will be 24 hours of absolute insanity.
