It has to be , I stopped updating for like a year and had no problems getting lives, I would have no less than 25 lives although now you only get 30 a day, ugh and I updated and barely get lives at all now! And it cheats , I’ve had several special combo I made and they don’t work right, or fish that go after nothing! Imma bout to stop playing, I’m ranked high up too and it sucks you don’t get the full experience they propitiate is an option to playing this game. @king.com change your algorithm to us getting the slotted amount of lives a day!

Same here. When I really want them I receive none. But when I stop playing and go back on candy crush in a day or two. I have received the lives. Wondering if it's set up that way to make you pay for extra lifes.
