That was an unpleasant surprise in my game. Extra moves are now for 12 gold bars vs 10. Did inflation affect Candy Crush too? Maybe the prize pool for winning an episode race should be raised proportionally as well? Seems unfair 🤔

I definitely still get the offer of extra moves plus UFO for 10 gold bars. King are still testing out if player will pay more, so please don't and then hopefully they will abandon this test.
Yes, I am seeing this as well, 12 gold bars for extra lives + UFO and I do not have a lot of gold bars. I usually only have 30 at most as the majority of levels are now impossibly hard to pass without using gold bars so it’s a no-win situation.It’s very upsetting especially since I am only getting 30 gold bars from the episode race. I used to get 5 more if I watched an ad. I used to enjoy the challenge of the game. Now it’s just frustrating. I play much less now.
They also came out to 12gb and now it has changed me back to 10
Trump Tarriffs on Candy Crush.. horrible move.. if you're raising to 12GB, then make the episode wins increasing amounts as well.. I agree with many.. this is a bad move on your part..
Not only but the game is more difficult now because even after buying 12 gold bars you still may not win the level. It’s all adding up to more money is needing to be spent on the game. This is a sad situation!!! I’ve always been able to depend on candy crush for stress relief. I’m not spending another dime . I’m done!!!!
Honestly I am not shocked. I didn't really understand why King would have turns + UFO at 10.
Maybe it's because you have a lot of the gold bars. Haha
Hey @zeus77 we're all addicts here, aren't we? Who am I to speak out on this? I said I'd leave both the community and the game after All Stars is finished, and look I'm still here! And playing as well. You have lots of gold, so don't feel bad. It's if you drain your bank account, that's when you've got a problem, but not if you lose those fake gold bars, so don't feel bad about it!
Thanks Christine. Yes you've already suggested to take a break when its too much. I tried and I feel a bit ashamed to admit this. I can't stop myself playing this game atleast 1 episode race for a day. You know i promised myself saying this week I'm going to sit back and not play this game. I came to see what is happening in community that time this top up of 100 gold bars popped up. Last week or before that I had top that and did not win. Because i was loosing too much of my gold. So king somehow lured/convinced me to play this week. I'm not blaming king. I accept it's my mistake.
I follow all your advice. My main reason to accumulate gold bars is because you said when one start episode race needs to finish without taking longer break. So I play when I have time and complete episode race and always comes first. My aim is to have 15000 gold bars in my account and be one among top players who have managed to be at end of map.
But as you've said now i understand why all my levels are hard. King wants me to lose my gold bars. Thanks for helping me. Im going to slow down.
King want you to spend your gold bars @zeus77 ! Of course they do. You have made it this far and well done for all that speedy crushing, but I can see on your screenshot that you have a lot of gold accumulated. King know this! King hate us players to have accumulated so much gold and they will try to make our gold balance shrink by any means they see fit. This is definitely the case for any players who made it to within 1500 levels of the end of the game but I suspect that there are other stretches in the game which also serve to slow players down in their gold earning. Don't forget that the aim of the game is to make money for King (not for us to accumulate more and more gold bars). If you find you start losing gold then take a break from the game and see if that makes your game easier. We do all play the same levels now in 2025, I am pretty certain of that, but we do all get different, bespoke events and that is how King control the game now. A stop-start method of playing Candy Crush might work better. It does wonders to the kind of opposition they give you in the weekly contest and it may also help players get better events or better offers. I get 40 gold from my champions races and offers of another 5 extra on top of that for being fast.
Hello Christine. Yes it is still 10 gold bars for 5,15,35,55,75 moves. But when we get extra moves + ufo it's 12 gold bars.
Initially i blamed it on my poor eyesight thinking this can't be true. But here we are. Isn't king making enough money as it is. Now this🤦♀️. I'm at level 7200 ish most of my levels are nightmare, or legendary. For the past two days whatever gold bars I earn from episode race which is 30, i use them to win next episode race. At times I feel like king doesn't seem to care about their players.
I am still seeing the 10 GB offer. You are probably part of a test group for whom the price has been increased. Do NOT pay the inflated price. If players pay then the tariffs might hit us all. If players refuse to pay the inflated price King will probably stop the experiment and prices will return to normal for you.
That is somehow surprising, the way getting the GB needs some energy. The game is however competitive and interesting. Can the King provide a wah we can trade the GB internally?
But I see this is still 10 gold bars not 12. Is this affected over Trump Tariff?

Each time I start a new Episode Race, it immediately shows that someone has already finished the race. I’ve played nearly 4 Episode and the same problem. please fix it. Thanks.
