what's with level 17287????

I've been playing this game for two days WITH an unlimited lives gift card active, so I'm guessing over 100 times. The closest I've come to winning is with 12 (!) items left, the more usual is with 80+. Boosters don't make any difference. This game is marked nightmare level. I wouldn't have thought, having reached this level that I needed tips, but any offered will be appreciated. Just not spend gold bars and get 255 extra moves!

level is still not passable. Candy crush used to be fun but as it slips in the App Store ratings, they continue to get more greedy

I see that this level has now been upgraded to 'legendary'. I've played a further 45 times. Still not remotely closer to winning in any instance.

I think you might be right. I've played this far with gold budgeting, and it's become more and more difficult, so that I can scarsely get thru any episode with gold bars left. On the plus side, it may have the effect of making me so bored with the game that I quit wasting time on it, because I don't have the financial resources to waste money on it! 😄

Hello @EugeniaHonora . The sad truth is that the only tip we can give you is to pay. That is if you still have some gold left in your account.

Candy Crush has changed beyond recognition in the past two years: Not every level is passable now. It used to be a matter of if we play a level often enough that the game would give us a lucky board to help us pass. It used to be that with a bit of patience any level can be passed within the moves given. That is no longer so now that the AI is in charge of writing and rewriting the levels. Someone at King headquarters flicks a switch and tells the AI to not include a lucky board for a specific level, then that is how it will be.

In 2025 Candy Crush is a game to use gold wisely: spend less on any one episode than you gain from the episode race and you will do well and make gold. Those impossible levels are then meant to be played by paying in gold for extra moves. Essentially all of Candy Crush is like this. It is the way Candy Crush is now meant to be played, it has become a gold budgeting game as opposed to puzzle game where players were to figure out how to beat specific levels. Players in the last 2000 levels of the game find that it is impossible to keep a positive gold budget and unless we have a huge stock of gold to fall back on at this point Candy Crush can only be played with a lot of patience or by paying or watching an incredible amount of adverts.

There is nothing specific about level 17287. If you continue with the game you will see many more levels just like it: full of blockers to be cleared. These levels require a party popper (or two), a double super colour bomb combo or payment of gold bars once the game offers us enough extra moves.
