@christinewupp I forgot to take pictures when I 1st started. Here's some from later.

Thank you for all your info in this thread, cookiemae. I agree with you that it's good to see how others play the game. Perhaps someday I will get brave and start trying to see if I can go without starting boosters and learn to play like you do, although Christine might be right that you might get luckier boards than most of us (based on the test groups we are in), so it might be futile for me to try.
@Nobody1 @christinewupp Thanks. I assume for whatever reason those at the top of the map would only get a few events. I only get on a regular basis is the chocolate box no other events until now I do get the episode race since we all have the same levels now. I use to get the fake flag all the time but no race. I thought it was because of the early levels on windows that I wasn't getting events but that obviously isn't the reason. I see now that my group just don't and will not get side events. It's interesting how king works but it's all good. One thing I would like to have is that super color bomb but nope it's not in the cards for me. Anyway thanks for the info.
I get exactly the same events as you @Nobody1 . This may be the best we can hope for at the end of the map. It will be interesting to see which of us will get to see the Candy Cup that is expected to come soon.
It's hit or miss. I am currently getting Friends Challenge, Factory Frenzy, Season Pass, Lucky Egg Hunt, Chocolate Box, and Top That, as well as the usual Episode Races and Weekly Contests. Things I know I'm missing that other people are currently getting include Candy Royale, Superchargers, and Petal Peril. I'm included in some of the smaller competitions, but was obviously excluded from All Stars.
So it seems I get more than you, but still not quite the full amount I got before hitting the end of the map.
Thank you it's great to see how someone else play. Tell me to you get most events playing new levels? I don't of course but I was wondering how many events you get.
I almost never use party boosters (unless it is for a major competition, for speed). Instead I use lots of free switches (and lollipop hammers instead wherever possible) to create color bombs and something good to match them with. Using that method, I can bash through almost anything in the required number of moves, regardless of how unlucky the board might be. I rarely ever use extra moves, not even by watching ads (since that often causes my device to crash and is how I lose most of my win streaks). And if I can watch enough ads beforehand, it costs no gold bars.
So yes, my play has been focused on trying to keep a win streak going and on maximizing gold bars. But I have to admit the ad watching is starting to feel tedious, and since I have over 28000 gold bars and will probably never be allowed to compete again in all stars, it seems like I might as well do less ad watching and spend some gold bars instead. So maybe I will stop worrying about hoarding gold bars. 😄
@Nobody1 So may I ask do you just use party boosters to finish off levels? So is gaining inventory and keeping your win streak most important to you? Jw.
@Boybinary I just did this screen thing. I wish I had known about it before. Thank you again.
It is true, I do see good moves on some of those screenshots. I'm not sure I see all of them - I do suspect I'm simply not as good as you. But it is an interesting thought - while I don't think it's true that King controls every move, I could see they might have a "preferred solution", so that if you pick the moves they prefer with each move, the candy drops create a favorable next move. So I'm starting to see how it might work for you.
I was hampered by having found a strategy that allows bashing through everything blindly and still gaining inventory, so I didn't have to learn to play well the efficient way, as you did. Perhaps I can start to learn. I guess I'm starting by trying to get better at the Star Tournament levels.
Thank you very much, cookiemae (and also christine), for all the valuable insight!!!
I can understand you not doing any more testing but are you just not playing anymore? Thanks for the good thoughts on my play and I think you are probably correct in king testing certain groups. I'm glad you can see the 1st plays on the boards I posted. It seems from nobody's post they had to use massive boosters to play this episode. I wonder how much the 1st plays make a difference in the candy drops. Oh well we will never know. @Nobody1 christine mentioned she could see some good moves I wonder if you see them as well. Anyway thanks Christine you are wonderful and I will miss looking at your test even though I can't use the information. I hope you will stay here in the forums on your off time.
This is so interesting and it's a shame I have lost interest in the game now to a point I don't feel like doing any more testing runs.
But comparing these two notes and playing styles is very interesting. I am intrigued by your statement that you don't use starting boosters @cookiemae . I did not realise this and it may have something to do with how you play and why you see luckier boards. If you remember I often advised players stuck on legendary levels to not use starting boosters while replaying levels, while waiting for a lucky board. Though this was mainly to conserve starting boosters I also found that it can be easier to spot the best moves and easier to spot when you do have a lucky board if you do not play starting boosters. Those of us who used to watch the old Johnny Crush and Suzy Fuller videos on YouTube will know how these players understood the algorithms of the game and knew how to spot and play those lucky boards with no boosters.
The whole "no boosters" experience of Candy Crush is now going extinct as King are changing the game from being level based to being event based for new players. What I mean here is that we are given a concoction of events we have no choice to opt out of and most of the events now give us timed boosters. Every day when I log into my (latest, lower level) game for the first time I am given timed colour bombs. And of course there now is the super charger that so many players love. King then write the levels in a way to accommodate lucky boards for players who have these boosters on their starting boards, although often nightmarishly hard and legendary levels will be written differently with no luck regardless of boosters played. The first attempt boards are quite distinct now from further attempts as these take into account the fact that every player will definitely have at least one colour bomb from the win streak on their first attempt and the game is turning into a "keep your win streak" game, with events like Candy Royale, the lucky eggs, jelly streak and the super charger persuading players to spend gold and money to make sure that they pass that 'first attempt board'.
It is probably because you are in a different test group that you do not see these events @cookiemae : They would interfere with your game, your strategy and probably with your enjoyment of Candy Crush. Trust me: you are playing the better and more fun variant of Candy Crush. It is good to hear that these latest releases do still have "no boosters" or "minimal boosters" boards. Apart from adding or removing moves and blockers, King's way to change level difficulty is based on when and if a lucky board appears and it may be feasible that you really are in a test group testing out these lucky boards @cookiemae. I certainly can see some good first moves on each one of the boards you posted above. Luck in Candy Crush is down to which candies then drop after our first few moves. If those boards continue to drop the right candies then I am not surprised how you continue to enjoy the game. Spotting and taking advantage of a lucky board is the one remaining and most valuable skill in Candy Crush. So yes you are a good player and this is skill. Of course, if you are given lucky board after lucky board, you could argue that you are playing a completely different game and a completely different strategy from the rest of us who would have to wait days to receive such a lucky board. That is why we use a different strategy. If you are still able to use the same strategy as years ago because you still get boards that allow you to use strategy and skill you are very, very lucky. Those of us who used to enjoy spotting and playing lucky board algorithms are leaving the game now because it just takes too long now to get one and playing the 'bash the board with boosters' variant is too boring for us. I think @MannyFae will understand what I mean.
Continue to enjoy your game and long may it last @cookiemae . Thanks for posting these explanations here as I think it has helped me understand how the game works and how King are experimenting with grouping players into different test groups.
I hope you continue to enjoy your game. Happy Crushing!
Omg! You used all those boosters. I rarely use starting boosters. Highest win streak since 2023 is about 200. It resets to 1 all the time. I will play some levels more than once to figure out the pattern. Don't use gold bars for extra moves. King never like to give me episode race to win any for whatever reason. I do not spend money. I just don't know what and why my game is not as difficult to pass levels as others have stated here. I think I posted once that pummy said I was in a different test group. Maybe that's why. I do think lucky boards might be a test group or heck I don't know I'm looking for an answer now. I know I couldn't be any better than most players so it has to be king. I rarely use boosters from my stock. If I do it's a hand.
Wow, cookiemae. I can confirm I got the same board configurations as you, with the same number of moves. So the only difference King could be making between you and me would be the candy drop order, and I can't believe King's developers are good enough to be able to favor your games over mine through that.
So I have to believe you are simply lots better at the game than I am. For this set of levels I used starting boosters plus 60 free switches and 58 lollipop hammers, plus 2 UFOs and a striped brush. I did keep my win streak going through it, and I didn't spend any gold bars on extra moves.
I'm curious to know - did you use any boosters, and if so, about how many and which ones? Just a rough idea would be helpful. Also, if you didn't keep your win streak, about how many times did you lose levels, and did you ever spend golf bars for extra moves? Just trying to understand how much you outclass me - it's obvious you outclass me, but I'd like to know by how much! 🤣🤣🤣
Yup it was a lot of effort and I said to myself never again. But this look easy. Thank you so much. I actually will use this in the future.
No starting boosters are played sometimes win streak not often because my streak disappears all the time. Rarely have 2 color bombs and never that super bomb.
I thought it may be the case! think of print screen like a screen camera, print screen and save it to a file, I call mine screenshots and then you can attach to where ever you want.
I wasn't trying to be condescending but that looked liked a lot of extra effort.
I thought the print screen would send it to my printer. I know nothing
Thanks.
A helpful hint😀
Haha it is so much easier!
Thanks for the info @cookiemae . I haven't played these levels yet myself.
I am surprised you only have one colour bomb on all these screenshots. Are these pre level boosters or win streak boosters? What would interest me most would be to see what the boards look like with both: When I start a new level I always play starting boosters plus I have at least one colour bomb from the win streak, so I always would have two colour bombs on each starting board. What would interest me is to see if others have the same amount of "luck", do your two colour bombs start off side by side, or at least one hand switch away from being side by side. It seems to now be the rule that these levels can only be passed on a first attempt if we manage to strike a double colour bomb combo or play a party popper.

I collected all the tapes in the right timeframe but did not get my 300 goldbars. That feels real unfair. Is it still possible to get them? I earned them fairly.
