Who has noticed if you walk away from the game and your phone automatically locks, once you unlock it the game has restarted and a life is lost?

Yes same problem
I don't think it's a glictch. When you switch to the community forum, it opens another app and your game goes to the background. If the apps in the background take up too much memory the system will close some of the apps to free up the memory.
I can’t say for sure since I usually play undisturbed until I choose to close the app. Buy I have been kicked out several times recently. The app has been reloading if I access the community mid episode. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch.
Oh, is that the default setting for iPhone?
As far as I know, when you start the game on Android phone, the app disable the auto-lock function. Whatever setting on the screen timeout has no effect. The screen remains on until the battery drained out.
I think yes this does happen though I don't stop mid level unless it's something urgent. You can control how long it takes for your phone to lock down if you are inactive, so if this happens to you a lot you might want to change the time it takes for you phone to automatically lock. This can be controlled in its settings. But it's always best to avoid stopping this game mid level.

in my weekly contest it is not recording my progress. It says I have only won 5 levels this week and I’ve actually won like 7 episodes. I have played at least 150 levels this week. I am Nikki #8 on the list
