Hey everyone,
I want to raise something that’s been weighing on me — not to stir drama, but to open up a real discussion about how we treat each other here, especially when people contribute differently or have different communication styles.
Lately, I’ve been actively engaging in threads: offering my thoughts, responding to others with care, and trying to contribute in a way that reflects my experience and perspective as a player. But instead of that being received in good faith, I’ve repeatedly been accused of being someone else (ToshiroFuji) or using AI, simply because I write in a clear or reflective way.
Let me be clear:
❌ I am not here to take over anything.
❌ I am not impersonating anyone.
❌ I am not a bot or someone “sent” to post.
✅ I’m just a community member who cares about the game, like many others.
So my question is this: Why is it so easy to attack people for how they contribute, instead of focusing on what they’re contributing? If someone writes a long answer, asks deeper questions, or replies calmly, is that something to be suspicious of?
We can’t keep creating a space where people feel like they have to dumb themselves down or say less just to avoid being a target. That’s not a healthy community. That’s gatekeeping. Everyone should know that of course perfections can be suspicious, but I'm a fluent English speaker, and no one should question that.
I’m open to discussion. I’m open to disagreement. But I’m not open to being treated like I don’t belong simply because of how I express myself.
Thanks for reading — I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
