New releases are out, no feedback thread yet.

Played one level and have had enough already:

Fish dispensers and toffee in multiple layers: Just what every player of Candy Crush loves! the candy cake is pointless since the fishes automatically go for this first and it will remove one layer, the marmalade, leaving us with something like this:

Such fun!

And the episode race flag is fake. So we will have to wait a few days to play the next level.

Thanks @christinewupp Must say, there seems to be a lot of strange things happening lately. Not really strange I suppose, just the normal way King are dealing with things 🥴

Just to mention about those new keys and the sugar chain: In the old levels I have revisited where we see these there is zero difference. I thought maybe at least the graphics might be different and show how many of the beads are gone and how many keys we still have to collect, but no. The beads all stay until the whole chain snaps, so this is a graphics only change. Even though strangely @Carol-38 your level 19818 was slightly different from mine.

I also spread out the episode races. That way it doesn't consume too much of my time in a given day. Also, I find that it's better to go for UFOs or party boosters for the last item in the chocolate box, since that way some of them are essentially free. But it takes extra time to finish the episode race that way, doing 2 (or 3 or 4) chocolate boxes in a single episode. It takes longer, but keeps the gold bar supply healthy. It takes me usually 1 1/2 to 3 hours to finish an episode this way, and my gold bar balance stays steady.

First episode completed, and yeah, I agree with everything everyone else has been saying here. Too many blockers to bash through, not much fun. Easy levels too easy. I have found that with levels with lots of toffee or frosting, if you use ads like I do, it's worth using multiple boosters to make color bomb/wrapped combos - they really chew through the mess if there are lots of the matching color in the right places.

Just completed the 2nd Episode not really anything different to say on that. I don't rush to complete all Episodes, spread them out as, as soon as I've got 1 left or finished them all I get pass 22 new levels or pass 16 first go in my Chocolate Box. Don't think they monitor what we are doing but it always seems to happen 🙄.

I've never thought the levels we get now are specifically to do with AI, let's face it many of us have been complaining mainly since the 10000's. Again I know I shouldn't really add my screenshots below, but they are really quite relevant to what we are still saying now.

These are 2 of my posts from 2022 talking about re frosting and that King should be looking at how silly the levels have become. The levels definitely changed after the 10000's and no amount of feedback seems to have made any changes. Yes AI has now taken over, but only doing what it's programmed to do by the human level designer(s).

I finished them all and here is my feedback:

Nothing to report. They were all boring and blocker bashing. A couple of easy ones thrown in. The marshmallow levels seem easier than others so maybe these are supposed to function as "light entertainment". Same as all the other episodes since the AI took over: not enough elements, not enough complexity, not enough "thinking". And too many boosters needed to pass most of them, of course.

It's just another change for the sake of change that King keep doing. It's such a shame they don't take notice and act on all our well intended feedback we keep sending as experienced players. Don't think we're asking for too much with what we send them and it would make the game more fun and keep many thinking of leaving to keep playing. Why spend time changing graphics and animations as Nobody1 said on levels instead of checking and changing the algorithms. Not sure what actually gets discussed at their whiteboard, tea, coffee, biscuit meetings, I'd love to be a fly on the wall at one of them 🦗

I've come across such a key level in my Cornflower game now. I cannot understand the concept of these nor why they have been added to the game. Bashing about with the usual "hit everything in sight" method seems to work fine. I am yet to figure out if they make levels easier or harder to pass. I wonder if they will eventually replace all the key levels?

I just saw the fancy new keys on a different old level. Are they functionally different in any way from the old keys? It seems to me like they work the same - I'm not noticing any differences other than the fancy graphics and animations.

I know I shouldn't really put this here but it is relevant in a way. I've just seen the Sugar Lock on level 1000 @christinewupp @teenybee @Nobody1 @cookiemae

Sorry @Nobody1 I should have included you in my post above. But I remembered you saying you'd been on holiday, so thought you was still resting your fingers and wrist from playing. It will be interesting to see how many others get the Sugar Lock. Don't know how they're not given to everyone being as they're new levels 🤔

Wow, ick. I have been postponing playing new levels until Thursday lately. I will prepare myself for tomorrow with extra boosters, and see what happens for me on 19813 and 19818.
