Iām not going to sugarcoat it anymore: this community is failing its own players, and leadership is the reason.
@QueenB, All CMs, and Mods, in CCS and CCSS, please stop ignoring this.
1. Ideas are constantly ignored.
Iāve suggested improvements ā real, structured solutions ā yet almost every time the answer is silence, rejection, or half-hearted excuses. Why even ask for feedback if itās thrown away? This isnāt ācommunity-driven.ā Itās a one-way street where managers talk, and players are expected to clap.
Real Scenario: I have given an idea to revive threads called Candy Favorites. It's a fun old thread that is very simple - share your favorite and get badges. However, the general rule of ignoring the older threads is horrible. Players love sharing their favorites.
2. The unfairness is obvious.
- Some players get badges instantly. Others wait weeks or months.
- Real Scenario: My 5 badges took 1 and a half weeks, even tho CMs are online. While my colleague got the badge instantly. What is the point?!
- Some questions are supported, others are abandoned mid-way.
- Real Scenario: The screenshot restriction persists, and I can't prevent it due to the constant error. Player support team won't even respond. You guys even won't give a solution and just ignore it like a rhetorical question. I've bought a new phone as sacrifice.
- Some ideas get spotlight, others are buried without explanation.
- Real Scenario: My idea for search box or level portal is now sitting there for MONTHS. No response? Ok, nice job CMs.
This is favoritism, plain and simple. A community only works when fairness is consistent. Right now, itās not.
3. The badge system is broken.
- Most of the badges, even rare ones, are worth 2 points or 5 points? That destroys the meaning of ārare.ā
- Spotlight badges retired forever ā why lock them out for new players?
- Badge delivery is painfully slow. This isnāt a once-in-a-while slip. Itās a pattern.
Real Scenario: I just got CCS Level 3000 badge, but only for 2 points? Disgusting reward.
The system is not motivating anyone. Itās confusing, discouraging, and badly managed.
4. Inactivity kills the community.
Threads go unanswered. Feedback corners rot with no replies. Players show up, try to engage, and are met with silence. Thatās the fastest way to make people leave. If a CM isnāt present, if badge managers are slow, and if admins ignore discussions ā whatās left?
Real Scenario: A newcomer is actually my best friend, but the community's inconsistencies embarrassed him, so he ended up deleting his account.
Hereās the truth: if I were a CM or badge manager, this wouldnāt be happening.
- Badges would be delivered on time, fairly, and with value that makes sense.
- Contests would stay alive and actually reward engagement ā not cut rewards down.
- Ideas would be given genuine responses, not shoved aside.
- Players wouldnāt have to beg for recognition; theyād feel it every time they participated.
And donāt say itās impossible. Itās not. Itās called doing your job. Right now, players are doing more to keep this place alive than the actual managers. Thatās backwards.
5. This is bigger than me.
Yes, Iāve experienced it directly: unfair treatment, broken systems, empty promises. But Iām not the only one. Every ignored thread, every delayed badge, every abandoned contest affects the community as a whole. People notice. People talk. People lose trust.
If nothing changes, youāll keep watching members leave, stop caring, or quit contributing altogether. Not because they donāt love the games ā but because theyāre tired of being ignored and treated unfairly.
Enough silence. Enough excuses. This community deserves better, and unless leadership changes, it will keep collapsing under its own failures.
The question now isnāt whether Iām being too harsh. The question is: are you willing to finally fix whatās broken, or let it collapse while players call out the truth?
