Years ago. The Star tournament has been at the end of Candy Crush for several years now. I first reached it and played in 2022.

I think we've answered that question multiple times: There are no more levels so there is no "normal play" until new release day.

another date….another push to only play this Star fiasco leaving my progress to wait til the next Wed. I swear it seems I qualify quicker and quicker🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️stuck on Star. Somethings not right. Why can’t I dismiss Star and continue my normal play?

You said that the Star Tournament was new @kookla44 so I told you that it isn't. What is there to doubt? To be honest I am amazed that you have reached the end of the map when you seem to know so little about the game you are playing.

As I said you show no real understanding of the game you are playing. The Star Tournament isn't there to stop 'decent players' it is there to entertain players that have run out of levels to play.

You do not seem to have grasped the concept that Candy Crush isn't a game that you can just keep playing and playing because the game has a limited number of levels. Once you reach the last level of the game you have no choice but to wait until 45 (now 60) new levels are released.

I lose my status on weekly games.

Yes you do and you lose the chance to compete in other features of the game as well. You chose to ignore and insult the advice I gave you as the only resolution to this problem, so there is no more I can say on this.

I agree with you on this. People here have begged King not to disadvantage players that are at the end of the map when it comes to the game's Events and features. The fact that they do not allow the levels of the Star Tournament to count towards a lot of the Events and features is indeed questionable.

No. The only reason you can't compete in the Weekly Contest is because you have reached the end of the map and no longer have enough levels to make you a competitive player due to the way King configures the Contest. There is no 'goal' it is just how the game works.

It seems stupid indeed for King to reward players for NOT playing! But you must understand that no one here can influence what King do or how the game is run. So the advice Alienscar gave you was good advice. All of our advice is good advice here. We are players like yourself, equally fed up with this game as you are. Please don't shoot the messengers.

Simply said Star is boring. New game one after another. If I complete one….wow….i move up on a chart.
I won’t waste paid for boosters on Star.
So I guess the deed is done.

The Star Tournament isn't new @kookla44 it has been around since at least 2020. It is new to you though because only people at the end of the map get to see the Star Tournament.

Active members do not want the Star Tournament to go away as some players take it as a sign they are good at the game when they have reached the Star Tournament.

If you care so much about winning 'weekly prizes' then you don't have many options now that you have completed all of the existing levels.

The only practical thing you can do is not play the game for several weeks so as to allow the number of released levels increase to a point you can start winning again.

I doubt you will listen to this advice though as I think you are one of those players that cannot stop playing for any extended length of time.

If you stop playing for two weeks when you next open your game King will give you twelve extra moves and some boosters.

King don't care much about players at the top of the map. Reaching the end of the game is not something I would recommend. I just deleted my own end of map account for exactly those reasons @kookla44 , so yes, I do agree with you. But you won't get a satisfactory reply or help on this one from King. The game is what it is.

Having won weekly prizes often….reached often.
not once did I lose my continued progress.
so now it’s suggested I S L O W myself down, not win….and “sadly” forego the flippin STAR🤬
this Star business is new. Active members want it to go away. Not popular it seems.
