Denize is trick-or-treating here because Halloween is coming up, that's why she wants candy in this situation.

This is not the first time I had Denize dress up as a plant. Three years ago, when I started making fan art of Denize, I imagined her as a giant snapdragon to tie in with the Pumpkin Party event. Accompanying her was Odus, her Pairs Skating partner, dressed as a bumblebee to collect pollen from snapdragons.
The cool feature I've designed for the flowerpot part of the costume is that the entire bottom of the pot is completely removed to allow Denize to walk in the costume. But, if she crouches or sits down, her legs and feet will disappear completely into the costume to deepen the illusion that she's a plant.
Hah, beautiful! The flowerpot is a nice touch!
As someone already guessed correctly that it's indeed Denize, let me assure that the giant carnivorous plant you faced last May is already dead.
