What does "Gold Inventory" mean? This is complete nonsense. I can't store more than 200 gold coins. Candy Crush Saga is getting ridiculous. This nonsense needs to be removed immediately.

I have a couple of moribund idevices, so yes I'm definitely wary of this possibility. However if I lost everything I've worked for in Candy Crush it might be a blessing rather than a curse. I can live without this game, just need a small push over that edge.
Yes, there are strategies around it, but it will make managing a game more complicated. I'm contemplating what to do with my main game when they impose a limit. I'm reluctant to convert gold into boosters as I only have one device, so everything will be lost if anything happens to it. Also, I'm afraid that limiting boosters to 100 will be the logical next step. I'm considering making a dash to the end of the map when they introduce the limit. Alternatively, I will have to get myself a bunch of used iDevices.
I'm curious what you consider to be a strategy to get around the limit. If you mean buying boosters (maybe on multiple devices) to use up the gold, I don't really like that approach, since it ties you to those devices. I would worry what happens when the device finally dies someday.
That is really interesting and I hadn't noticed this as I don't speak Turkish, but I've translated that screenshot now and it really does say that the limit will be removed if we make any purchase. This makes sense of course, as there are in game offers to buy much more than 200 gold bars. So is this the ultimate way to try and force players to make purchases in the game? On the other hand of course using the right kind of strategy and forward thinking anyone can get around this limit. I'm already working on it as I expect this get rolled out before long.
There's some information in another thread on the subject that I think is important.
It is mentioned in that thread that any purchase you make removes the limit. There's also a screenshot of this 'feature''s info screen, and if I managed to translate correctly, it says exactly that.
Another bit of info is that there is a two-day limit to spend gold, after which it will be turned into random boosters (coconut wheels, presumably).
Those of us who have gold and rely on ads might want to consider what to do in advance.

Frankly, I had about 500 gold. The limit appeared when I dropped below 200 gold within about 30 levels. Perhaps if I hadn't dropped below 200 gold, there wouldn't have been a limit at all.
If this change does not go beyond testing, (I hope that will be the case and I feel very sorry for players having to deal with this nonsensical idea), I wonder: will players in the test group recover their historical GB inventory?And: How will they account for the GB players had won but could not accumulate anymore?
I wonder does hoarding gold since it's stored on kings servers I the reason for this. I never use gold but had over 60,000 on my game to play in all stars and was banned. I still have them. I can see this as a move to make people buy more gold but at the same time it will lose long term players. New players of they get any would not the difference thats who I think king is counting on.
If this is introduced for everyone it will be the beginning of the end for many players.

That's terrible! I am sorry you find yourself in this situation. Did this cap appear all of a sudden? When did it appear? This is so unfair, and other players can apparently still keep thousands of gold bars. This must be a test. I hope it stops very soon as this is the biggest reason yet to make players quit the game.

After a while, you're given a time limit for excess gold. And if you don't spend it, it turns into random rewards when the time runs out. This is ridiculous. This limit should be removed immediately.

There were a couple of screenshot recently posted on reddit of people bragging about win streaks (not very long ones) which seemed to show a cap: 124/200 about 12 hours ago, and 152/200 3 days ago. So in both cases, less than the cap. Very scary.
