You’re actually a bit lucky you were getting 40 gold before. Some of us have been getting 25 gold for a long time now. 😅
Candy Crush changes rewards depending on different “test groups,” so not everyone gets the same amount. Even if you win a lot of streaks, the game sometimes lowers the gold payout — it’s not something you can fix on your own.
My theory (just based on experience) is that if you’re on a long winning streak or completing episodes too consistently, the game adjusts rewards to make it “harder.” If the 40 gold reward is in testing, it might come back eventually — but it’s not guaranteed.
Right now it’s mostly luck, compadre. 🍬🎲

Hi @dpandi . I am afraid this is quite normal for Candy Crush: The more successful you are at the game the less of a reward you get, especially in the episode race. I have played many games and mine always starts off at 40 gold for the champions race, but that reward goes down as we progress. I now get 25 gold for my race.
If you win three episodes in a row then it's called "champions race" and that will award more gold. If you then lose one episode you are set back to the normal episode race which will pay less gold for the first three races.
Yes the gols bar was reduced before i get 40 but now i get 30 its sad😥

Other players have reported a similar experience. The amount of gold bars received after they win the Episode Race has been reduced. However, the amount of gold bars still increases with consecutive wins of the Episode Race. I understand that is not the answer you were hoping for, especially if this change is not temporary.

Hi all, i haven't been getting any new levels in about 2 months. I am stuck on 20,525 with no new levels while my friend is almost at 20,800. I followed all of the tips in the FAQ. Is this normal? When can I expect new levels? Thanks.
