I didn't find any of these posts yesterday evening as this thread had disappeared from my front page. I'm finding the navigation, reply function etc usable in the iPad and I also lost those horrible orange King icons since yesterday. My page looks almost usable now. I wonder if that is because I use landscape mode and a magic keyboard. If this new system has made this site unusable for mobile players then this outcome is the exact opposite of what was intended.
I agree with you and @MannyFae of course: This community is the reason I play Candy Crush, so if they ruin this for us we'll all be gone both from the game and from here. Let's hope they'll get it sorted and/or we'll all get used to it.
So I've only just now discovered this thread again. I'm still struggling with these changes. I will bookmark it now. That seems the sensible option to find the important threads.
I deleted my comment about the foreign language posts here because I think it's now possible for everyone to answer those. I hope it stays that way. I see that even the moderators now answer those posts.
Can't reply to your last reply @MannyFae no reply option. Yes the reply Christine sent me was to a thread I started, but not this one. I'll keep my eyes open on that then 👀to keep checking what happens

I just got a notification from a reply Christine did to me so I'm trying this again to see if they've fixed it.
I don't like this at all, way too confusing. Besides I thought I had deleted my king account here previously. I was sent a notification that it had been so I had uninstalled this game months ago. Came back yesterday with a new account and my old name pops up. Well whatever, I wish I could link this to my new account as I can't do to the one I had previously. This is so chaotic, hope it calms down soon. Glad to be back though!
Also thank you for getting rid of the huge images like the King banner on the main page. Much better now.
The buttons for the categories like discussion, support, etc at the top of the main screen are too big on mobile.
Also editing in a reply on mobile is bad. As I am typing this, I can only see the last line or two of my message, and I can't scroll back to look at or edit the rest of it.

Also I tried replying to your post but mine doesn't work properly. The box keeps shrinking and it only shows the last 3 lines of what I am typing, then it freezes 🙄 We've also noticed that the reply doesn't send a notification to who has been replied to.
Look forward to seeing many improvements over the next few weeks it really isn't working well as it is at present.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and yes, we’re absolutely open to feedback 😉The current layout isn’t “final” in the sense that we’ll still be making tweaks and improvements as we go.
The main goals behind this update are to: • Make the community easier to navigate for new players • Improve the experience on mobile devices • Remove some of the visual clutter and noise so conversations can shine through
We know it can take a bit of time to adjust, and feedback like yours really helps us understand how these changes feel in practice.
We're already looking into the images and how it's displayed on mobile and also the filtering of New comments/Discussions.
So please keep sharing what’s working well (and what’s not) as you explore the new layout 🙏
Nested threads is a concept that I generally dislike.
Interesting that there appears to be a maximum depth (I couldn't reply to the fourth post). That is better than what I have seen on some other sites - infinite nesting of posts leads to total unreadability on mobile.
I got the fourth reply @MannyFae but not the option to reply to it. Going to find something a bit easier to do now, like climb Everest 🏔️

Wow, it did. I got a 'Comment exceeds maximum depth' error earlier today.
Wow, tagging still works @Carol-38 ! I got an email notification even. But finding that comment is such a pain.
Just checked and no notification to me either so guess we'll have to keep tagging @MannyFae Well that wasn't easy the tag box wasn't easy to see, I could only just make out that it was you and gave it a quick tap 🙄
Out of interest @QueenB is this how the Community is going to stay or are whoever, who put it together open to feedback for changes.
I'm asking as if this is the final and no changes would be considered, there wouldn't be any point in giving feedback.
Must say a big Ouch though, yes we have to keep looking and practicing but it isn't user friendly, and far too cluttered.
So it would be really helpful if you could confirm either way please.

Oh, and no more notifications when you get a reply…
It's the first time I got a reply button where I could add an attachment. This is awful I was only practicing and all I kept getting was draft saved. It's now taken away my option to add an attachment and I can't scroll to see what I have put. Only shows 3 lines of my post. Oops attachment tile appeared then disappeared again as I was typing. This will end up being a really silly post. Attachment tile appeared again so quickly added my signature. This is what I call hard work 🤐
