We are about to ring in a new year, 2026, but it is with tears to announce that tonight, the last night of 2025, will be the permanent end of my career as a fan artist for Candy Crush Saga.
And more than 20 characters from this legendary game have stepped up to bid me farewell as I pursue other ventures.
Denize and her family of dragons, whom I've loved so much and made lots of fan art about, are the first to say goodbye. And her friends (and even a few foes) from the Candy Kingdom, big and small, are next to follow.
If you're wondering if this announcement means I'm quitting the game forever, let's just say that's not necessarily the case. I will continue to be a very irregular player, but expect me not to devote myself mindlessly to it for the rest of my (or the game's) life.
