Timed Boosters

I really don't like these time boosters at the moment I am collecting pins I just finished the level I was on and the new pins gave me 2 completed collections, 15 minutes paint brushes and 15 minutes hand switches which I could not use as I was not starting a new level. I think these pins are worse than previous collections as those did not have timed boosters in them and they also had better boosters than this lot. 🙄

Timed boosters follow the clock of your phone, so if King wanted to change that it would require a major overhaul of the programming and functioning of the game. I'm not sure if it's actually possible: King do not have access to our devices, so they cannot stop the time or clock on our phones.

Hope you keep safe with your snow storms and travel. It reached 41 yesterday some areas got to 46 bush fires everywhere, we could smell the smoke from where we live the fires were about 2 hours away I really feel sorry for the firemen/women working in this heat to protect us. Bit cooler today though before the heat comes back from Monday.♨️

Timed boosters are just another psychological trick King uses to keep you playing and paying . If you cant play right when they want you to , you lose them . Hey King wouldnt it be a novel idea that if you close the app completely the timer stops on your boosters and resumes when you actually have time to play ? And when timed boosters are active why not cut down on all your stupid time consuming pop ups . And of course with time running down on your boosters that you have earned they suddenly give you the option to watch ads before starting a level , you suffer through a 30 second or more ad and your rewarded with a stupid fish . 🤣

Agreed, these timed boosters take me by surprise, so I end up ignoring them. I wish those boosters weren't timed. I like being able to control when I start my timed boosters.

Hello Christine, yes normally you can time when you get boosters, I don't mind getting the timed boosters from the daily spin because that is at the start of the game so I will be using them but these pins are annoying as you said they are awarded at the end of the round when you are finishing up, it happened again today finish the episode race complete another set 15 minutes of freckles so annoying. 🙄 Oh well at least when I finish the pins I should get the 120 gold bars. I am now going to a cooler room with air con too hot 38.😎

Oh yes, I have found this too. Normally I can anticipate when the timed boosters show up and some of them (from the Season Pass and Bakers Box) we can choose when to claim them. This is also true for the pin sparks. My 80 sparks box gives me 20 mins timed starting boosters which I like to choose when I am ready to play one episode. Some of the other timed boosters the game gives us can be anticipated, such as the daily treat machine and we can close the app now before hitting the "claim" button as well, so that is always a choice if we get timed boosters at the wrong time.

BUT those timed boosters from the pins themselves, they are really a nuisance and have taken me by surprise too. They catch us when we were just about to stop playing for the day because it's at the end of an episode race that these pins get awarded. My guess is that it's just another one of King's tricks to try to make us play more than we want to. It is so annoying!
