The events tab is no longer showing, and the weekly race widget is missing for over a week. I did win the race (I think) but no prizes given either

This issue occurs because some players appear to have the older version of Map Widgets which lack the Weekly Contest widget and is the case on Windows but in that platform Weekly Contest never makes an appearance compared to Android. The issue appears to affect me and happens on all platforms as well. This can also be observed from the Color Bomb Series widget in where when you've finish a track and you wait for the next one, in the old ones the label shows the time left for the next race to begin while in the new ones the label shows Zzz… instead. But strangely, on another profile I've made, I didn't seen that issue meaning the Color Bomb Series widget shown Zzz… while waiting for the next race instead of actual time remaining for the cooldown (Aka for the next race to begin).
Hey @christinewupp, will share that the issue is also occurring on Apple devices, but it would be helpful if you give more specific details about which Apple device(s) are involved
@MountainMom hi! This is true on Apple devices also, not only android. It's annoying not to know where I'm placing in the weekly tournie and what my progress is.

Our Community Manager confirmed this is expected for some Android players right now. This issue is temporary and the missing events/tab should return soon.

I think this is a known issue? I mean: I also have one account now which does not see the weekly race at all. Didn't I read somewhere that they were working on a fix for this? Anyhow I am having exactly the same issue in my game. I'm on an Apple device.
@Deal_One, for most issues, our first response should not be to send players to Player Support. The frustration by players might be exacerbated by such replies.

@Paul343 What device do you play on? I don’t mean to keep saying the same thing but support is supposed to help us.
I did this already, I check for updates everyday, Other users are having the same problem and Deal_One player support is no help so quit posting this on every post.
