My all starts tournament stopped working, can't connect to shop or see leader board. I was in 1st place with 92000 blue candies.
I knew you aren't seeing this event and you are right: The system has changed to those other events.
It's a shame you aren't allowed to take part, I bet you'd be in with a good chance.
All my games are seeing the old style Season Pass and I was assuming that it was still working offline like it used to because it looks the same. Thanks for pointing that out. I rarely play offline now. There have been some recent changes in offline offers and play. I might try out offline play in order to reduce pop-ups in the final round thanks to your advice, but I'm not so sure if it makes that much difference. I'll have to run some tests in the next round. I am of course worried that offline scores might be wiped, as this is being warned about by the Terms and Conditions, so it may be a safe strategy to use in All Stars.
Thanks for your explanation😄My place doesn't have All Stars, so I don't know it is different from other Tournament events, such as Candy Cup, Winter Cup, Valentine's Cake. All these tournament events would not reload their leaderboards when we logged into the game, so All Stars is unique to others on this point.
In other tournament events such as the last Valentine's Cake, if we were in a Knockout round and turned the clock beyond the start of that round, the event would not disappear, we only couldn't earn the purple candies temporarily. We could earn the purple candies again after back to normal. But if we turned the clock beyond the start of the Qualifiers ( entire event ), the event would disappear then.
Season Pass works offline and is independent of server time.
The current 6-day Season Pass is independent of server time ( but 7-day Season Pass follows to the server time ), it follows to our device time. It used to work OFFLINE until the change in last year 2025, it cannot collect the season points and rewards now if we are playing offline. It does not work offline now😔
You are often right in what you say @michimune but on this occasion you are mistaken. Let me try to explain.
The countdown timer for the All Stars rounds is set at King's server, not on our devices, so it is independent of local time. Every time I log into my game the leaderboard reloads and it connects to the server. It takes a few seconds to do this (which I find quite scary because the widget at first won't be there and then appears after a few seconds delay). Every time this happens the event reloads according to server time. This is why it is different from Season Pass. Season Pass works offline and is independent of server time.
However: the actual timer as shown on our leaderboards displays the time set on our devices. This is different from the weekly contest and chocolate box, which do follow real time. The display on the leaderboards does not. So anyone messing about with their clocks on their devices will have the wrong time shown on their leaderboard. What this clock displays has no real meaning: The event finishes when the time at the server reaches 0, which is the same for all players irrespective of what their display shows.
If you manually did move the clock forward beyond the 0 time left mark yourself then you probably would lose the event immediately. I have for obvious reasons not tried this out (but might try it during the second chance rounds for the sake of testing) but I think that would cause players to lose the event. This is why we recommend to all players to not interfere with the clocks on their devices. It is not safe in the wrong hands.
We lose one hour sleep after changing the clocks forward only because we have to go to work one hour earlier on the next day. Anyone who does not set their alarms in the mornings will sleep just as long because our inner clock does not change overnight. That's why clocks usually get changed in the middle of a Saturday night, so that people have one day to adjust before having to go back to work an hour earlier. (A long time ago I once forgot to change my clocks all of Sunday and arrived an hour early at work when the clocks were moved back!)
Dear Christine,
If autoset of a device inside the setting of Date and Time has been turned ON in the UK, the clock will change to 2am suddenly when the time reaches 1am on 29th March 2026. Right or wrong?
If a UK person goes to bed at 9:00pm and gets up at 7:00am daily, she has ten hours of sleeping everyday, but when she goes to bed at 9:00 pm on 28th March and gets up at 7:00am as usual on next day, the sleeping time has been shortened to nine hours. Right or wrong?
The Stage 4 will be started at 1:00pm on 26th March in the UK. If the countdown time has 4 days ( or the duration of this Stage is 96 hours), this means the time will be shortened by one hour after 2am 29th March. Unless the countdown timer has 4 days and 1 hour ( or 97 hours) at the counting starts. Right or wrong?
The time displayed in chocolate box and Weekly Race are following to King's time, so our devices move 1 hr faster would not alter them. The time displayed in Season Pass and Tournament event are following to our device time, so if we change our devices 1 hr faster by ourselves before the event has one hour left to closing, the Season Pass will close immediately and we cannot earn season pass points, same as tournament event. Right or wrong?
As I have said @michimune the reason I advise people not to change their clocks is that it is something that has been said to cause the Event to go missing.
Unfortunately a lot of the old posts have been archived, so I can't point you in the right direction now.
Because it is something that we have spoken about over the years I will always advise people not to change their clocks during an Event.
Feel free to advise people otherwise if you like
Well, it's not happened to me since. It's not happening in All Stars. I think during the Winter Cup there were some glitches in the game that caused some players to lose the event which have since been fixed by King. There were other reports of this happening at the time.
The clocks go forward in Europe at 2am @michimune . This will NOT impact the time we have until the round finishes. I cannot follow your logic at all in this worry you have about European players losing one hour of play. It makes absolutely no sense. Every player starts playing at exactly the same real time and finishes the round at exactly the same real time. The time set on our devices or on our cuckoo clocks at home do not come into this. Why would anyone in Europe be disadvantaged?
However I think I do understand the point you are trying to put across but it is way too complicated and irrelevant to anyone. Of course anyone who chooses to NOT use the automatic time function of their devices would have to manually adjust the clock the next morning, in the same way that we adjust our cuckoo clocks the next morning after clocks go forward. It would be daft not to: We use our phones for all manner of other things than playing Candy Crush! If you had your phone set wrong when you get up on Monday morning the least of your worries would be that you might be kicked out of All Stars. You could be late for work or miss an important appointment!
You really are complicating matters unnecessarily here.
Inside this thread⤵️
I did at that point notice the clock was set to the wrong time and changed it to automatic, but that should not have affected the event since it was a mere two hours difference. But it did make the event disappear and I know once it's gone it's gone.
@christinewupp had changed your device mere TWO HOURS (less than a few hours 😆)in the above thread, then you said your Winter Cup disappeared, so @Alienscar advises everyone for not changing the clock here. But I know this mere two hours were still not beyond the start or finish time of that round. Your event should not disappear, you had hidden something and didn't say it clearly. I know but Alienscar doesn't 😆
Moreover you could beyond the start time of that ROUND, it should be "you could not beyond the start time of that ENTIRE EVENT."
But we also know everyone is playing different game, different UI, different testing group, so we shouldn't reassure it.
Nevertheless the main concern I want to point out is:
Should we change the clock faster when the competition is IN PROGRESS ?
If a round has one hour left and we turn the clock one hour faster suddenly, the event will finish accordingly, we can't earn blue candies anymore. We can't get more time but we can shorten the time for competition, so I think a European player should TURN OFF the autoset in Date and Time during Stage 4, otherwise he will give up one hour to other USA players. He should turn on the autoset for summer time after Stage 4. Do you understand my concern due to my poor English?
That is good to know @christinewupp
I can reassure you and anyone here that changing the clock of our devices by a few hours has no impact on All Stars. What matters is if we change the time beyond the start or finish time of that round @michimune @Alienscar . I would strongly recommend against changing the date on your devices but changing the clock forward or back an hour will not get anyone kicked out of the competition.
All Stars tournament is not missing, it's just not playable. Time was not charged on the device. It started working again for about 20 minutes then again with no connection like a DDoS. Very upsetting I spent money to compete his year.
Daylight saving occurs automatically on mobile devices no manual alteration is required.
If the autoset inside the Date and Time has not been TURNED ON, the device will not move one hour faster even though the timezone has summer time.
In Stage 4, the summer time in Europe will appear WHILE this Stage is in progress. This Stage is in progress, this means if your device move one hour faster suddenly, you will have one hour less compare with the players in the USA. BECAUSE the duration of this Stage has been set before it starts. Do you know what I mean?
No @michimune I mean if a player manually changes the time of their device their is a chance based on past complaints that they will be eliminated from the competition.
The competition started on the 5th and DST in the USA occurs on the 8th so it would have affected them as well as European's
Do you mean European MUST NOT change their clocks in the upcoming Stage 4 for summer time?
This is a high risk action, so they should change their clocks after All Stars has finished?
And if they turn their clocks one hour faster, this means they have one hour less for competition with the players in the USA?
Has the All Stars gone missing from your Events page or just from your Map @nezabudka
I don't know what is going on but you aren't the first this week to complain about not being able to access their Shop the issue is supposedly being investigated by King though.
Likewise several other people have also complained about the disappearance of their leader board. No problem has been acknowledged by King yet, but this is an issue that occurs every year.
If you have changed the clock of your device to obtain more lives this would be one reason for the loss of your leader board.

Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
Hi everyone, We’re aware that some players who play on Facebook are currently seeing their game reset to Level 1, even though their progress is correct on other devices. We’ve reported this to the Studio and it’s now under investigation. If you’re affected, please: Confirm you’re logged into the correct Facebook account…
