They have made the chocolate Box very hard to fill, only to receive 25 gold bars!. Trying to get 2,000 orange, blue, red or whatever other candies they want you to collect, is ridiculous since you must win the level to collect the candies.
The booster tasks are quite interesting because they're really situational. Usually, they're a bad idea, but you can breeze through them with timed boosters! Knowing how to get timed boosters is supremely helpful.
Need to use some party boosters? - Finish the daily stamp card for 5 minutes of timed party boosters - Get the podium prize chest for more timed party boosters
Need to use some UFOs? - One of the Baker's Box boards will give you 3 minutes of timed UFOs - Finish the ads quest for 10 minutes of timed UFOs - Finish the daily stamp card for 15 minutes of timed UFOs
Need to use some lollipop hammers? - One of the Baker's Box boards will give you 5 minutes of timed UFOs - etc.
For starting boosters, spending your sparks on pin packs is key. The highest tier (80 sparks) gives 20 minutes of timed color bomb and striped + wrapped boosters among other goodies. The daily treat machine might give you the right timed boosters as well.
If possible, find a good level that you can finish very quickly before beginning the timed boosters. For example, I like to use level 4,181 because each completion usually takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. Suddenly, an objective like "use 9 boosters during a level" becomes a piece of cake to finish.
@stephanie2024 have you still got the new style Chocolate Box that requires the completion of new levels to fulfil all of the Tasks?
Yes, I agree collecting 2000 coloured candies seems to take forever when you can only collect them by playing new levels.
It made me realise how often I had to replay an old level to complete this kind of task when you could do it using old levels.
Purple color is mostly an exception where you must win the level still but you don't have to play new levels on the map, old will suffice too
@stephanie2024 I have been filling the Chocolate Box lately. Just have to go on a win streak. I wish the rewards were better.
So true … however the very best is when it demands you use precious boosters to advance in the box … sometimes asks you to use 9 hammers just for 1 spot in the box another good one is when it asks for 2 party poppers … the rewards are far less than what it takes to get them … 😃
