Since the final rounds (from 03/26/26 through today, 03/28/26), I haven’t been able to see my position on the leaderboard, even though I keep getting pop-ups from All Stars saying I’m doing great. At the start of each round, I was ranked #1 and winner of each round since All Stars started this year, on every board, but during Final Knockout 2, hours before that round ended, the game unexpectedly closed and when I opened it again, the leaderboard completely disappeared. I haven’t changed my phone, updated anything, or altered my date and time settings—just like Candy Crush suggested I check—so none of those explanations apply. At this point, I’m starting to believe that Candy Crush admins choose who they want to advance. In my opinion, those are the players who spend money on boosters, lives, and extra moves. After all, they make billions of dollars each year from those purchases. I’m almost at level 14,000 and haven’t spent a single dime—and I never will, not on Candy Crush or any other game. Just like the presence of bots or fake accounts during these events (which seem designed to keep players playing nonstop—I’ll admit I’ve fallen into that), it all feels like part of a system to drive massive daily revenue. I don’t have an issue with them making money, but intentionally hiding the leaderboard from some players while blaming it on “glitches” or “system issues” feels unfair and honestly a bit ridiculous. That’s why I’ve stopped caring about the competitions altogether and now just play for my own enjoyment. If they truly can’t fix something as basic as a disappearing leaderboard—something essential for keeping players engaged and competitive—then it’s hard not to think it’s being done intentionally. It feels like they’ve already decided who gets visibility, and those are the players who spend money.
At the end of the day, I’m fine with not seeing the leaderboard—because they’re definitely not getting any money from me. I certainly won’t waste my time any longer playing nonstop (almost 15 hours a day during All Stars Rounds) and am no longer interested in ANY Candy Crush competitions.
