Anyone has any tips on how to make it on top for the final round? Is it best to start earlier or later? Should we use the tokens straightaway or save em till the final hours?
I wrote some of the answer in my analysis thread, but will state again here:
Stage 6 will be an all live round where the task is to score as much in 24 hours as you can. So logically when you or when the others play a token makes no overall difference to the score you or they can achieve.
The maximum score humanly possible is 510,000 by my maths. I assume that any player scoring more than this will not pass vetting.
Players with less than five tokens probably stand no realistic chance of winning. Sadly for most players it may well be that only players with six token will stand a realistic chance of winning, no matter how fast you crush. (damn those tokens, such a bad idea!) This does depend on how many players still have got all their tokens. We do not know this, but two of us in this community have posted that we are both fast players and do have all six tokens.
In order to find out if you have a chance of winning I would recommend you play your tokens early. That way you will see very quickly if you can win: If you have spent all your tokens and someone overtakes you you will know that you have been outplayed and you can stop wasting boosters, gold and money and can go to bed if you are tired!
If you want to give it your best and see how much you personally can score and where this will bring you onto the leaderboard this is my recommendation:
Play the token at any time but best when there are easy levels ahead.
If possible time the token to when you have timed boosters, especially a timed UFO such as from the daily stamp.
Whilst the token is active: Play at your best top speed to get the most out of each token by using boosters and gold to pass levels. Don't replay levels or watch ads while the token is active, as both waste time.

In the last round all groups will start the minute it starts, so don't wait, you'll just waste precious time. Enter immediately and crush hard and fast. To stand a chance, you must crush for the entire 24-hour period without any breaks or interruptions.
Regarding token timings, it might be reasonable to use them early when you are still fresh rather than late when you are tired. However, if someone knows a cluster of good levels that score high, they can use a token when approaching those levels.

i’d also be curious about this especially since there seems to have been a pretty big advantage to entering late and getting an easier bracket even in the second round of knockouts.
