Weekly race

Has a button been devised to turn the weekly race off yet?
I used to love playing candy crush scoring against my friends. The weekly race and competing against strangers has ruined the game for me.

I agree I was wondering why people that are not my friends in 10000 level and I am on the 5000 level are competing against me. Since they took our fantastic 5 away and limit us to receiving only 20 from my friends it sucks now I am not buying ANYTHING ELSE!! I have yet to win a level since the did this just gonna quick too hard and no fun

No fun anymore we are pitted against those who are 5000ahead of us and NOT OUR FRIENDS ahead. Whoever is screwing around with features is going to cause many to just quit. Every level is impossible anymore
