Just checking to see how the labels (called popular tags) listed at the bottom of the page when creating a new thread, shows. I selected Feedback, mainly because I wouldn't have a reason to pick anything else 😉

I personally don't understand @christinewupp why these label tags were even brought in. I did ask what the reason for them was, and for whose benefit, but of course I didn't get a proper explanation, I don't think anyone fully knows. I don't chose any of the options when creating a new post, why would I, what's the point 🤔
Considering this new forum was brought in in October 2025, to make things easier for mobile users, it's completely backfired. And surely before anything else gets added they should be sorting out all the things that still don't work since the change.
How much longer do we have to wait for threads opening on any page other than 1, (reported over 4 months ago), and drafts, no longer drafts still showing up, to be fixed. And after they are done (if they get done), I'm sure there will be many other things that need changing/updating, before new things should even be thought about to be added.
It does make me wonder who comes up with these decisions, that makes a now complicated site, even more complicated. I doubt very much that they are regular Community users, and they certainly wouldn't be using a mobile device 🥴
So as we keep saying, let's have a simple site that everyone will want to be in and use.
The new tags don't work at all because spammers are using each one for their posts. Here the screenshot of today @QueenB :
Eight different tags, eight different pages. Can anyone guess which is which?
Nothing will work in this community unless the overseers get rid of the autonomous AI accounts and those who wilfully spam the community. I'm done with tagging moderators about all these gibberish posts because all it does is bring that post back to the top of the page, which is the opposite of what we need. Then it gets made "read only", which is pointless as they won't get removed for days.
Ah yes, and scrap the tags, this system is of no use whatsoever.
Now that I realise this is possible I have gone back to add some "guides and tips" tags to some of my older threads @QueenB . If this system is supposed to be of any use whatsoever then we need someone at King's (it could be an AI or bot) to weed through the tags and take out the ones that clearly don't fit. Right now on the "guides and tips" tag these three show up at the top, even though I've just tagged my older posts, which certainly do contain useful tips.
The top one is a player introducing themselves socially from Nigeria. Why they chose the "guides and tips" tag is beyond me, but there needs to be a system in place to move these posts off that page. The second and third posts seem to be asking for some guidance and some tips. You see: People just don't get it what these tags are for.
I would suggest that in order to be able to use these tags people should have to be above a certain level in this community. The newbies just do not get it what they are for or what to put.
I had another look and practice @QueenB and the label tags still aren't showing on any I look at. After opening this thread again, I scrolled right to the bottom and saw this. Not sure how long it's all been there, don't recall seeing anything saying it had been added/changed. Or maybe I just haven't been paying attention and it's been there for ages 😔
Then clicked on Somebody needs help and saw this
Thought I'd have a look at Events and got this
Opened that to see if the label tag was showing
And as you can see it isn't. Stupid post anyway 🙄
Now I really can't see what the point of it all is. Please, please explain to me what it's all about, who it is useful to, and how is it meant to be useful❓ what are those of us in the Community going to gain from it.
Also as others have said, when clicking on any of the tags, they don't necessarily refer to the tag they are in. So if this is kept, how are you going to get around that. Or will it just be left as it is, making the site even more messy and confusing.
And on a more important issue, how are the problems of threads opening on any page other than 1, and drafts that have been deleted still showing, getting on 🤔.
Yes, on my ipad I see this:
No @QueenB this is what I still see
The same as when I posted it, and as you know I did add a tag label. @christinewupp I am using an Android tablet, are you using an iPad.
Yes @QueenB . It's visible now in several threads. I assume those which don't have it never added a tag. So I think you've fixed it.
Sorry for not being clear! I wanted to check if you are now able to see the Feedback tag under your original message?
Don't know where I'm meant to be looking 👀 and I might not be available to check things for the rest of the day. So please let me know where to look and I'll reply when I can 👍
Thank you both for letting me know 🙏
Can you check now and see if it's visible for you?
I don't see anything like that either @QueenB.
Thanks @christinewupp I know how to find them now, after you showed to look at 'somebody needs help' , and I did have a look. But I certainly won't be bothering clicking on the 3 dashes, to open the quick links to then open somebody needs help, to then scroll down and have a look again. What a palaver just to look at tag labels that aren't even correct. But even if they were correct, I don't know how many would bother looking, or what help it would actually be. Guess it's now up to the Community Managers to decide what the actual reason is for having it and if it stays. I'm glad I finally found where it all is, but that's my lot with it now.
OK I think I understand now @QueenB you're saying it should have had that on my first post. But another problem with the system, it didn't appear 👍
So would that have popped up when I sent my first post @QueenB as it isn't showing now. Or am I being ultra thick today and not understanding what you're saying 🙄
Oh just get rid of it 🚀🌙 😅
Sorry, this is what I was referring to:
So where is it please @QueenB in my first post 🤔 I really want to know
my earlier explanation was not clear enough. The Feedback tag should appear at the bottom of the first post, under “Find more posts tagged with.”
Just seen a reply at the bottom of my post, so checking what it does
EDIT: OK checked it, so now I know.
Just for me to get to someone needs help @christinewupp I have to
Then
🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕
Hi @MannyFae 😊
Thank you for pointing this out. That’s a really good observation.
I’ve checked it as well, and I can also see that the Popular Tags are visible on the “Somebody needs help!” page, but not when browsing other sections or when viewing a discussion thread.
We’ll look into now 😉
Thank you as well for checking the Level Help tag and sharing what you found there. That’s useful feedback too.
